OK, one last pic. It was last Winter and I'd just come in the house, sat down to do something on the computer. It was his pirate's parrot phase where he had decided that he should be on my shoulder whenever possible:

Okay, here's my 11 year old Peaty. He has kidney stones, heart disease and allergies. But he's a typical orange kitty. The best temperament in the world. And he doesn't mind if I vape when he sits on my lap.

This is my favorite pucture of him. He was only a few years old in it.

Yay cat pics! My little Mooch has gotten a lot bigger since I rescued her mid June. I put the Jac on her and she looked at me like she was thinking "what are you doing stoopid human."

One thing that still amazes me is how fast a healthy house cat can move. My cats are always inside/outside cats so they are never truly 'house cats' but that's what I think of them as. Anyway, my cat likes to play with the squirrels. And we have tons of squirrels. He had one trapped on the back of a hill one day day and they were playing tag with the squirrel's underground burrough being home. After a lot of fidgeting around the squirrel finally made the dash for home. They moved so quickly that I couldn't actually visually process either of them continuously through the entire run, and I'm usually very good at processing info visually. It was amazing.

Now that I have a bunch of the little Ego One tanks though, and they came with 1.0ohm CL coils...I'm really liking them! When I start using the CLR coils in them though...I'll build them at 1.5-1.8 hopefully, though some may end up slightly lower, which is also OK.
When you finally try those CLR coils, prepare to be spoiled. You will be thrilled at how easy they are to rebuild and rewick. You have been warned!!!(LOL).........Please let us know when you try them, and again after rebuilding or rewicking.......

No wonder I like you all so much, there's SO many fellow kitty lovers on this thread. Maybe there's an association between vaping and kitty ownership, lol!

I have had either one or two dogs since the early 90's because my wife was a dog person. I don't dislike dogs at all but they are a bit needy. I still do have Gordo and he's about 12 years old, he follows me around the house and can't be left alone or he gets upset. He's laying on the floor behind me right now. He's my hairiest and most poorly behaved child, basically. But I have always had a cat ever since I was very young other than the time period bracketing my military service. I'm more of a cat person.

A much preferred photo of the day . . . BTW: Really wish I could accept the responsibility having a friend like this one around, just can't right now since I can barely be responsible for "Myself" . . .

AND - No I do not dislike felines, however just too many of them around and I am very allergic the them . . .

Some time ago my dog was just hanging out (underfoot as always) and the cat jumped up on a footstool next to him. It looked like a good photo op since they were both sitting there looking at me. I took out the cell, and just as I was taking the pic my jackass of a cat bit the dog right on the ear for no reason at all. So here's a pic of Gordo, and my cat being a jackass. That's not a kiss on the cheek:

yeah I love cats... I have eight indoor cats.... Of course I love dogs as well.... As a matter of fact, I love most all animals.... The day that you and Jackson Galaxy can ever figure out what makes a cat "tick" then please let me know.... Cats are always doing weird things like that.... It's a cute photo though and you are lucky to have captured it right at the exact moment of the bite :)

@ChelsB, the association stems from all of us being former smokers! Smokers were the best, non judgmental, not germaphobes, and more likely to have house pets. Cats or dogs or birds or even snakes. But house pets=family. I have always had an abundance of animals, cat and dog hair floats everywhere.......so what. We former smokers/ current vapers are more laid back about life in general. So keep those pics coming!

You sound like me. Working in a veterinary hospital for almost 18 years it was an occupational hazard to have many pets. At one point we had 7 cats, 1 iguana and 3 snakes…all were abandoned/abused. And chickens outside.

One of those cats stunk of cig smoke when we took him in. Even to me, a smoker at the time, it was unpleasant.

I'm a total cat person. I can't have one because hubby is seriously allergic. It's probably for the better because we do love to travel a lot.

Running joke in the house: if anything happens to hubby and he goes before me, I'm getting a cat before I call paramedics.

It is JUST a joke.
