For you non-riders, when you see those Harley guys cutting across the grass to get out of standstill traffic, it's usually because their air cooled motors are about to melt down.

Never had that issue with my '92 Geezer Glide. Nearly 200K on the clock before it got stolen.

So, was looking at the thread, but... TLDR.

My better half has recently decided that she'd like to try vaping. I've been at it for a few years, and haven't done any tootle puffing in a long time.

However, she'll probably be more comfortable with tootle puffing to start, doesn't want any of the direct lung (clouds, bro, clouds) stuff that I use.

So, looking for an RTA for her. No worries with building, I can take care of that, but looking for a good flavor RTA that works well for MTLers. Recommendations? I've been eyeballing the Serpent Mini and Goblin Mini V2 - probably not great for MTL, but a restrictive lung hit might work. It's gotta be rebuildable and handle high VG. She'll be using my ipv D3, so no worries on a mod.

I could dig out an old Lemo, but looking for something discreet, preferably with top fill. With the amount of stuff that's hit the market in the last two years, there's gotta be something new and improved since big airflow cloud checkers started coming out. Personally, I'm happy with my Billow V3's and Griffins, but some vape otherwise.

BOOM!

The serpent and serpent mini are fine for restrictive lung hits, but I don't think that either are a true mtl tank. I think that the kayfun 3 mini could work really well. There are some decent clones already out if you don't want to pay for an authentic. It has juice flow control for high VG, and is a top fill. The goblin mini is okay for mtl, but I find that the flavor is muted with a single coil (even with the adapter), and that it doesn't take air in easily (if that makes sense).

Well, I had already ordered a Serpent Mini for myself. I still use my Gob Mini V1, but not often since I hate the tiny screw bottom fill. Love the vape, though, and the size. Sometimes I prefer a restrictive lung hit. Think once the Serpent Mini gets here, I'll throw in a 0.8 ohm 26ga build @ 20w or so and see how it treats her.

May have to order another Serpent Mini for me, if she likes it. The Merlin looks good, too. Has the reducer to restrict airflow a little. Might have to get two of them as well... And mods to run them, and some new DIY flavors, and...

Gotta stock up for the FDA Vapeocalypse, right?

BOOM!

Merlin is very good for MtL with the airflow restrictor. It is a great single coil tank. But obviously not as 'discreet' as the Gob mini for example. It also produces more clouds than one would expect.

From my interaction a week or so ago, I understand that for many who use credit card, the age verification is automatic through the CC. I use debit card, and had to jump through a number of hoops to get age verification. However, once it is done, it is done. MadVapes may be getting primarily into their vapeshop franchises.

My three kicks for my stash arrived yesterday. They were individually boxed, in a large box. LOL.

That's the way it should be. If you've had the same credit card for over 18 years, then approval should be automatic.

Just had a county sheriff move into the duplex next door, any bets on how long it takes me to get him to move out?

I used to live across the street from a local police officer. He worked nights and slept during the day, so I hardly ever saw him. It depends on the person whether they are a benefit or an issue.

I've bought and used a number of tank rebuildables, but I always come back to the Kayfun 3.1 for my daily vape. At 10 watts it's pretty incredible how much vapor and flavor they can produce with 80pg/20vg juice. With a new coil and wick I'll sometimes turn it down to 6 or 7 watts until they break in.

I've seen EHPro and Tobeco Kayfun clones for as low as $5 up to $15 lately. I ordered several for backups. You can never have too much juice or too many RTA's.

Must be an Austin/way south thing. If you get stuck on I-35 on a Friday evening in August, your 50 weight will be flowing like 5 weight.

    Just for you, brother:

A little denigrating to our "culture" but kinda humorous, as well. We really can be our own worst enemy...

Too funny! And yeah...those folks look a bit rough. Nice folks, but definitely off-putting to the more staid crowd! We really can be our own worst enemy.....:lol::lol:

Well, we'll see. I'd rather not pick up a Kayfun for her, if she decides that 10w vaping isn't where she wants to be.

Right now, I have a Gob Mini V1 with a single 0.75 ohm coil built, and dug out my old Lemo 2 and gave it a bath. Gonna throw a build in it as well. Plus, the Serpent Mini is on the way, and I have several Griffins/Billow V3's.

I figure with the stock I have on hand, she can try just about the full range from tootle puffing - mod whomping - clouds, bro.

Next rabbit hole is finding which PG/VG ratio and flavors she likes.

    BOOM!
