Thanks for replying. With my slightly higher vg content, I find that when I try and use anything smaller than a 14 gauge, it seems to take forever to fill a tank, so I was curious about the smaller gauge. I do know that there is no right or wrong way to do anything related to vaping so I hope you don't think I was being unreasonable in asking.

:)

Not at all. I figure that if Jerry Lee Lewis had ever written a song about my practices, it'd be titled something along the lines of, "Whole Lotta Snippin' Goin' On."

Often arbitrarily, so sometimes I "Oops!", and have to grab a new one. The life of a vaper, it is.

Can some help me with finding a battery charger for the car that can change different sizes? I want one for emergency use.
Illumn is having some sales. The Nitecore chargers frequently have an optional DC car cord you can buy.

I tried 25 gauge but it took too long to heat up.

I may try 27 gauge. 28 is soft with cotton but impossible to use Rayon.

Im almost out of the Rayon in a baggie. My 500 feet box was lost in the move.

If someone has more Rayon than they need PM me.

I've recently tried 29 gauge and 2.25 coils based on @h00ligan's input and find the 29 a nice balance between 28 and 30.

Sorry to hear that.

Soooo, I just got to see what the inside of a Jac Series B looks like...

Thanks to the erlk vomiting overnight.

I'm thankful I was able to reassemble Jac and it seems to be ok.

User error, of course, but I'm not sure I'm on board with an atty that has such finicky wicking. I don't find it to be superior to the kompact Kayfun so erlk is going to live in the "whelp that didn't work out" pile.

Could also be an o-ring RS. Might double check 'em.

If you want to charge more than just your batteries, you could get a power inverter for your car, I did a quick search and came up with some options... power inverter for car usage - Bing

We used one on our first honeymoon and it allowed us to charge everything: cellphones, laptops, etc., and they're really quite useful for a variety of things... We were camping mostly, so we needed a power source. I'm sure you could find one near you inexpensively, and they're a useful item to have if you don't want to buy another charger.

My nitecore d2 intellicharger came with a car charge adapter

Do you have a link?

Found it here at RTD Vapor and you can get it with 15% off Labor day sale . . .

While there might be other chargers to consider - There is also this one too:

Ya' might as well get some extra batteries in that order while "You" are there - Ya' know "You" are going to NEED them . . . ;)

Personally, during an emergency situations (Bad Weather/Power outages) for most of "My" rechargeable electronics, I use either a Car charger inverter or a Solar Panel (Poweradd High Efficency 20W Dual USB Port Solar Charger -has USB ports) . . . Just Sayn' . . .

I've put mine on probation. I've not had any leakage and I've managed to stop the dry hits with wicking revisions, but the flavor isn't as strong as the KFM3 or the doggystyle. For me. The Doggie is my favorite because of its size and weight.

Also a favorite of mine, so easy to clean, build and wick and I haven't had any leaking issues. I have another one coming, it hit the states yesterday. I think I'm going to stick with the tanks I know work for me. I'm on ordering restriction now anyway with moving and the new house.
