AND - Although I posted this elsewhere it seems appropriate to for here too . . .

What really gets "Me" is the people who live in Hurricane prone areas should always be ready to pick-up and go or hunker down . . . This MAD RUSH around everywhere to get supplies is insane at times . . . Learned a long time ago when I moved here to get supplies when the "Season" starts and just keep up with the bare necessities as NEEDED . . . Matter of fact, got extra batteries during free tax school weekend, filled up with Gas just last week and then topped it off yesturday. . . All that's left to do is, take "Stuff" out of harms way, gonna start "getting rid" of perishable foods, charging recyclables, and finally finish packing extras I want to take with "Me" to best friends home (which is out of the Flood area where I live) and pack car up . . . SO - READY - SET - * * * * If "Irma" does come closer or ashore * * * * GO. . . Just Sayin' . . .

We've been stocking up since the beginning of the season. Just was a matter of topping off those supplies. We are in the process of using the more expensive freezer food. Looks like my stock of filet mignon will be the first to make. Doesn't break my heart any.

Agree with a lot of this.

I'm a survivalist and prepper for years.

When lived in tge south prone tornadoes i kept a bug out bag loaded just in case i had to leave in a hurry

When i lived in Washington prone to earthquakes and volcanoes again i kept a bug out bag loaded and ready.

If something happened i could leave in a minute witg a change of clothes and 72 hour supply of food.

Crohns uncontrolled is like H E double hockey sticks.

It so totally is. My mom was diagnosed with it when I was about 12. She had a large part of her bowls cut out and was then on heavy duty steroids for several years, which she didn't handle very well at all, but she really didn't have many options back then. It kind of sucked for us kids too, as she got somewhat unhinged on steroids. Now, having dealt with a chronic illness myself, I have far more sympathy, but at the time things were pretty dire. She's doing way better on that Azocol or whatever asprin-y stuff they use that releases in the bowls nowadays, that and codeine which I'm convinced she's a bit too fond of, but it's better than steroids....

I had some sx of it in my 20s, got to enjoy a colonoscopy, and they said I had "the start" of what "looked like" it, and loaded me up with medications to enjoy but halfway through the drive home I decided I was *not* going to get that, and decided to just do the Crohns diet for awhile, and ever since then I've been fine. I wasn't totally convinced that the doctors were right, but that self-imposed treatment plan seemed to work for me...

I'm glad you have it under good control now, Two Bears, that's a miserable disease. My husband's biodad died from it, but he was anti-medical care, and wouldn't do anything until it was way too late.... I probably Would've done something if my sx had not been so mild, but I'm glad whatever I headed off at the pass got... .headed off at the pass. It's a miserable, annoying illness, and probably the start of my parent's divorce, as I don't think my dad enjoyed my mom on steroids any more than anyone else in the household did.

You got it right sister. I too enjoyed a colonoscopy about 20 years. And they didnt report finding anything. Then 8 years later i was diagnosed with Crohns.

A friend of mine Carol E diagnosed a year or two before i was. She committed suicide because of it before i was diagnosed.

Does anyone know how to contact Sure Vapes?

I try to leave information on their contact form on their website. But, it won't let me. It says 'The verification word is incorrect.' What verification word? I see nothing.

They show no email address or phone number. And, they seem to be gone from ECF.

I ordered from them, and the post office returned the package to sender because of insufficient postage. SV shipped first class, spending about $6 on shipping. But, they charged me $10 for shipping. The post office said they were $3 short on paying shipping and refused to deliver.

I have no way to contact them apparently.

If anyone knows how to contact them or understands what this verification word is about, please let me know!

I just went to that website and it did the same thing. Perhaps it is "crooks" or "I can't calculate shipping correctly." Either way, I'd be upset and be tempted to use a chargeback, or something. I mean, that's just bad practice, both in using a "contact form" that doesn't work, and charging you MORE than it cost to ship something, then *actually* underpaying for shipping. Wow. Especially for a small item. Shipping really isn't hard, either, I'm totally able to do it. I hope it isn't a small item that's super hard to find elsewhere....

Nope, it was 10 of these. I wanted them since I didn't get a chance to get spare glass before IBTanked closed their doors.

By the time they took off for a discount code and me redeeming points, without shipping it was only $13!

They used to answer to support@surevapes.com, but I don't know if they still do. They also had a phone number, 732-784-8273. Again though, I don't know if either are active these days.

Good people, them. It saddened me to watch their inventory go down, and their personal notes stop.

:(

One of too many...
