Well my Newport smoking wife says she's warming up to the vape setup I've provided for her. I'm as hopeful as i dare be. Her smokes just jumped another 5 bucks a carton on the 1st so that is adding motivation as well.
She found some largish fungus in the yard that seem to be puffball mushrooms, which I've never heard of before. They're edible so i may give them a try as long as they don't take me todash like the Steven King version does.

good luck on getting your wife switched to vaping.

Cheesecake Disaster !!!...I love Cheesecake...But I'm not a fan of "Stinky Cheese" and my tolerance for any hint of sour dairy is less than zero...My idea of strong Cheese is Laughing Cow or Monterey Jack ...I made 3 testers (15ml ea.) and none are going to make it...I have to believe many would love this stuff...Bummer :(

So ODD because they smell wonderful but the transition from smell to vape to taste is a flavor I just find to be slightly on the revolting side of things...Rancid/Putrid/Foul...Strong words but that's how it hits my palate...I also made a small tester of LA Cream Cheese Icing and sure enough that taste is there...Not so pronounced as in in the Cheesecake (TFA GCC) but I can detect it so out it goes...I've done a little reading and some of the reviews used words a bit more disgusting than mine and then I read this one...Illuminating...It has a name !!!...If the person who wrote this ever reads in...Thank You !!!...And sorry for filching it without your permission...

"I give this 3 stars and I'd have given it 5 if I'd have reviewed it a few days after my first test. It was divine, thick, creamy, slight cheese note.
Then after about 7-8 days into a steep, BAM, full rancid cheese.
This is due to the butyric acid. So do NOT use this above 2% ish. I used it at 4%. Needs to be coddled with other cheesecake ingredients like cream and base."

Oh Well...Lost $20 in flavors and base...I've done much worse in my time and I certainly learned my lesson about "Butyric Acid"...Not For Me ...Now I started at 7% but there's no doubt in my mind that ANY of that flavor is out of the question...Sorry...Trig's Bakery doesn't do Cheesecake !!!

I did however get a very nice shipment of Drip Tips...I like all of them & they all fit !!!...Trig :D:D:D

Not trying to be harsh here at all Trigster, but...IMO if you made 15mL testers, you might want to try starting with 5mL ones for others. Quite a few of us do that size for starters. Also, from reading your post it sounds like you made each 1 of the 3 as a single flavor...is that right? I see TFA GCC and LOR Cream Cheese Icing, but what was the 3rd one? I can definitely see where 7% of the CCI was way too much, especially as a single flavor.

Oh Well...Lost $20 in flavors and base

I'm thinking you might want some suggestions for where to start getting your PG, VG, Nic base and flavorings...if (3) 15mL test batches down the drain cost you $20 in flavors and base. It shouldn't cost you but maybe 1/10 of that at the most!

I have forwarded this link to several people who are finding this very helpful. My house is still standing, yay!!

I really hope it is, but I haven't checked what's shown at the link since right after Bea posted it. (Had to go down to the neighbor's to use their high speed internet.) At that time, what it showed was as of 12:15PM Thursday. Had they posted updated satellite photos and info when you looked at it? I sure hope so.

...Strange...^^^^...Chopped my reply up...Muffed Another One !!!
_________________________

I've stopped any testers smaller than 15ml because the flavors I use are all so common and complimentary I haven't had any real flubs until now...Plus I was finding that by the time you could get a reasonably accurate taste test with 5ml ya' run out...The 3 were:

CCGCC + Hazelnut + Chocolate + CCI
CCGCC + English Toffee + Caramel + CCI
CCGCC + Almond + Amaretto + CCI

Small variances but essentially 7/4/3/2...Any less than 7% and the base flavor wouldn't be there...I can't complain either because I'm quite sure it's ME not the flavorings and all of my other Bakery concoctions have been turning out nicely with only minor tweaks between the 1st & 2nd runs so far...Going less than 7% ???...Not a chance...That flavor is so repugnant to my palate...I wouldn't use the slightest bit of it !!!

I'm thinking you might want some suggestions for where to start getting your PG, VG, Nic base and flavorings...if (3) 15mL test batches down the drain cost you $20 in flavors and base. It shouldn't cost you but maybe 1/10 of that at the most![/QUOTE]

Well...Not really...The CCI & CCGCC is $8 plus and little base so probably closer to $10...Still Cheap...So I'll just curl up with some Bear Claw or German Chocolate Cake :D...I have 7 items on the Menu  & More To Come !!!

Why do I hear the song Strange Science when I look at this post? Are you mixing juice or recombinant DNA? Those look like amino acids in a DNA strand. You ought throw in a couple of A's and T's for good measure. And before anyone gets funny ideas, I meant A as in adenine and T as in thymine.

Most of my mixes turn out like that. Smell great. Smell great going down the drain as well.
