Has anyone been following the "net neutrality" issue? For those who are not familiar with it the FCC is voting next month to charge (or not) for internet usage. If it passes it will be kind of like having cable where you buy a package…basic or movies etc. It could also mean social media would no longer be free…we would have to buy the package. ECF would not be free as forums are considered social media. For example, a provider could chose to block or slow certain websites…maybe they disapprove of vaping…I suppose they could then choose to simply not include our ECF in any of their packages…or make it expensive. How many of us would be willing or able to pay for it? What would happen to our beliced ECF?

I wonder how @Oliver feels about this issue?

Yikes! I don’t know enough about it to have an informed opinion, but it doesn’t sound like something I’m in support of! I’ll go check out your links now! Thanks, SweetBea![emoji4]

That platform would kill the power of the internet and turn in into a paid subscription service like cable. Fight it like the enemy it is.

I can see huge numbers of internet subscribers cancelling their online plan in protest. It's a shame that a public utility style service could become like Netflix or Showtime where you can only watch what they put on the menu.

The power of the internet lies in the ability to tailor your choices into bookmarks that fit your style of surfing and the right to surf any site that's available to determine if it's something you want to tag.

For the FOURTH time today, I’ve drawn blood poking myself with wire. It never ceases to amaze how sharp that stuff is. Ouch!

That's painful and the pain keeps on paining for days. I do that occasionally while re-stringing a guitar (no matter how careful I am).

My hub has the same issue when replacing his violin (and guitar) strings. What gets me is that I don’t realize I’ve drawn blood until it’s too late (I don’t bleed with every poke but have with all 4 today) and I get blood on my clothes or worse, my wick! Lol!

Well, I DO have jewelry making needle nose pliers, as that’s a hobby of mine. I never thought to use them for vaping! Good idea!

I pull off a long 6" piece of wire when I'm winding a coil and mounting it. That way the part I'm wrapping around the screw isn't as likely to stick me in a fingertip. Still, I get a stick here and there. It's a shame they don't make flexible steel mesh gloves with a rubber outer coating!

Just like I wish they sold a mod locator! I’m so absent minded that I’m always misplacing my mod. So it’s a good thing I always have at least 8 filled and ready to vape (having backups for my backups is one of the first lessons I learned here and it was a very valuable one!)

I have a 'Tile'. You can make it beep from your phone to help you find it. But, it's too big and clunky to be comfortable to put on a mod. They need to make one that can be attached as part of one of those mod bands.

Does anyone have any clever storage/organization ideas for o-rings?

I keep mine in a small bubble wrap envelope loosey goosey. Top-notch sorting device if you ask me. :thumb:

Joking aside, maybe a cheapo plastic tacklebox? There are small ones about palm sized that should get the job done. Heck, even one of those pill boxes would work fine.

My only method has been to keep different sizes in small zip locks with the size written on the bag in fine point felt tip. There's also the snap lock pill boxes that some keep their medicines in. Most of the o-rings I have on hand are spares still in the atomizer box they came in. I don't have that many failures on Kayfuns.

I wouldn't worry too much, Bea. The ruling would only turn the clock back to 2015. The internet did pretty well up to that point on its own, and I'd expect it will do fine without the two-year old regulation/legislation.

For reference, one could possibly look at cost-to-consumer as a guide.

1998: $19 per MPS (average)
2015: $1.10 per MPS (average)

So again, I wouldn't worry too much. We'll all be fine.
