We had a low of 29F here last night, and that same temp. the night before with the wind chill. Our high yesterday was 58F and today it's expected to be about the same. Next week we're supposed to be back to our "normal" for this time of year, with highs in the mid to upper 60's to low 70's.

We had about the same temps here also, looking forward to next week getting back to normal, it sucks working outside in this cold.

I'm saving my complaining for June, July and August. Where you can't vape outside either... The paint melts off on to your hands.

Apparently, there was a warning on the radio by some study about temperatures in this area rising from 3--6 degrees by 2060. I just blinked and said to the husband, "It really doesn't matter that much when you're already standing on the surface of the sun...."

You will have moved by then, depending on your present age. Now we have people who move south for the winter. Then, we will have people who move north for the summer.

When I was younger, much younger, it couldn't get too hot for me. I spent I dunno how many summers on vacation, and on weekends roaming the Mojave desert prospecting, and loving every minute of it. Now, I can barely tolerate 85f. That's what age does to you I guess. Now all I've got to show for it is bad skin from all that sun, and making frequent trips to the dr. to have this or that cut off of, and out of my arms, and back, and face.

Yup, that's our normals too and what it will be here too and should have been all week.

What did you have to do for your horses during this :censored::censored: cold spell?
