Is this small rip cause for a re-wrap or is it not a big deal?

I’ve actually never had to re-wrap (although I do have the necessary supplies). Guess I’m off to YouTube to watch a tutorial!

And here I am still using a mod that takes a single 14500 battery (and use at most 2 batteries a day).
Guess I am a Tootle Puffer Extreme.
And I still use one 18350 bat per day most of the time! And this is fine by me.

I'm in good company

Cause for a re-wrap, yes. Immejiately. Any damage to a battery is cause for concern/action.

If we take precious care of our batts, they'll take care of us. ;)

My dual batts in my Squidly are lasting a week or more. Zat normal, Shawnster? ;)
Yeah. Perfectly normal at your preferred wattage. The majority of the time, I'm running at around 80 watts (in TC, so it's not constant). I only tootle, nowadays, when travelling with The Wife.

It's easy. Cut the wrap long enough to extend past the edge on both ends to match the original wrap length, slide it on, and heat it with a blow dryer on high moving the dryer back and forth and rotating the battery until the wrap shrinks tightly all over. Use clear wraps and leave the original wrap on it so you know what brand and type battery it is. You can also print small date labels and slide them under the wrap before shrinking to mark your new batteries with a purchase date so you know how old it is down the road. You can also include the same number on each (111,222,333) to label married sets/pairs to keep them together for use in multiple battery mods.

I'm thinking about upping my nic level to stop vaping non stop. I've been at 3mg/ml strength for a couple of years now and I never put it down. I'm vaping more than ever. I'm thinking about upping the nic from 3mg to 6mg or maybe 9mg. Who has upped their nic similarly and what did you experience and where did you end up finding satisfaction?

I started at 18 mg on a Nautilus then eventually started building and dropped down to 7 mg on a Kayfun V5 where i stayed for six months. Then i went onto unflavored on my Doggystyle. Gradually increased and am now up to 25 mg. I have dropped my consumption to around 5 ml a day from maybe 10 ml. I don't care about how much nic i use i just feel more satisfied with a stronger mix. At lower strength i felt like i was constantly chasing the nicotine. I do only MTL.

I started at 18, not quite enough. Switched to 24 and became an ex-smoker. Couple months later, dropped back down to 18 and vaped a LOT for a while, then settled back down to my previous level. Couple months in, dropped to 12 and chain vaped... went back to 18 and settled back down. Still there.

MTL and tootle, about 4 5 mls a day at 18, and still an EX-smoker.

Honest research indicates nic is about as addictive as coffee, and about as harm ful/less (take your pick ;) ), without all the other alkaloids in burned tobacco, and may actually have some health benefits.

I was at 24mg when I started moving down in nic to 3mg a couple of years ago. I vaped less at 24mg, but it would be a system shock to go that high again unless I could take a couple of hits and stop for a while. I'm vaping 10 to 12 ml a day and I think sometimes more. I tend to top off a tank if I'm headed out for a while.

I'm thinking 9mg to start and see how that goes. I don't want to overload in nic right away, but I can start there and add or subtract from my unflavored base to see where the sweet spot lies.

I may end up higher than I think. I vaped 24mg right off the bat when I started vaping. My cigarette consumption went from 2 PAD to about 5 or 6 cigs a day really quickly. After a year of vaping 24mg I dropped the last of the cigs and never wanted another. It's been 8 years now and I'll never smoke again.

When I dropped my nic level from 24mg to 3mg I did that over several months. I was buying vendor juice then and I gradually went from 24 to 18 to 12 to 6 and to 3mg when I'd buy a couple of bottles.

I just want to be able to walk away from my mod without carrying it everywhere I go. When I smoked before I retired, I'd be stuck in non-smoking computer rooms and commercial print shops working on electronic production printing systems most of the day. The last year before I retired the company didn't allow smoking in company vehicles. I'd run out to the break area every couple of hours and smoke a couple of ultra light cigs or if I was driving to my next call I'd pull over at a convenience store and smoke.

I totally quit by accident. Smoked for about 35 years and was up to around 50 hand rolled filterless a day. I never even thought about quitting. One day went into the smoke shop to get my tobacco and after seeing the guy vaping walked out with a Nautilus and no tobacco.Amazingly never even thought about smoking since,i quit that day and now it has been almost two years.Easiest thing ever and a true miracle.

I started vaping at 24mg.,after some time went down to 12mg. and then down to 6mg. where I've been for over a year. It's winter here so I have no yard work or gardening to do and am kinda stuck inside with my Pico/Kayfun in hand.....always!I've been thinking of upping my nic to 9mg to see if it'll help me put the darned thing down.During better weather and being out and about doing stuff a 3000 mah 18650 would last a day and a half or more, now I'm zipping through a battery charge once a day.
