I'd love to have eyelashes that long.

my wife is jealous of my eyelashes. I was in a play one time in highschool. the girl doing my makeup got done and had to show everyone how long they were lol. things damn near touched my eyebrows.

Hey Tootle-Puffers!

Long time vaper, long time sub-ohm "cloud-chaser", considering becoming a Tootle-Puffer. :)

I just tried a Juul and am very impressed! The nic rush I get from it is like nothing I've ever experienced in my almost 10 years of vaping.

I understand the Juul is packing +50mg juice and it's that new-fangled "Salt" nic (or nic "salt" depending on where you look). But, whatever it has, I want more.

I have been DIY'ing my own juice for probably 7-8 years and I have a sample bottle of the salt nic on it's way to me from Nude Nicotine. I plan on mixing up some high-nic juice with it, but can't use it with any of my current (direct lung) RTAs. Can any of you recommend a MTL RTA that would work with the high-nic "salt" juice and give me about the same experience as (or better than) the Juul?

The Juul is great and all, but the pods are outrageously expensive and battery life is short. I would love to get the same MTL, higher-nic experience with a RTA and one of my current mods.

Just a couple of reasons why I think I may enjoy higher-nic tootle-puffing; I probably take in way too much vapor every day and sometimes I have a hard time getting a deep breath and am "phlegm-y" in the mornings, I'm tired of the windows in my house and car being constantly fogged up with vape residue and I go through about 20ml a day.

I've tried higher nic in the past in order to reduce the amount I vape, but it never worked because it was too harsh for me. I think this new salt nic is the key to high-nic vaping as it is much more smooth (in my admittedly very limited experience).

Thank you all for any advice!

Hi, Yeti, and welcome to the thread. :thumb:

You may already have a tank or more that would work. Any thing that will work with a single coil should be fine, dual coil is a maybe :)

If not, if you can find a Kayfun 2+Lite.... now sadly as scarce as hen's teeth. The Coppervape Skyline is a good tootler, and easily available (Fastech). There are lots others, as well, and I'm sure others will pop in with their favorites :)

With either of those, build a single wire coil at 2 - 3 mm ID, going for 1.5 - 1.8 ohms.

Nic salts are said to be smoother, so might be able to go as high on the nic as you want. Don't use them, myself, so can't give a real world opinion. Reducing the VG% will create less fog, on windows and lungs. (For me, anything over 50% VG starts building that phlegm, so I don't mix there.) But higher PG will give more throat hit (which can come across as harshness.) So a fine line on the ratio that works well for you.

if you wanna try an RDA, here's one my friend has that I'm waiting on:

$10.24 (Free Shipping) Berserker MTL Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer (304 SS, Silver) at m.FastTech.com

I don't use tanks/RTAs very often, but when I do, it's this:

$26.00 (Free Shipping) SXK Corolla V1.5 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (Corolla V1.5, 22mm, 316 SS + PC, Silver + Green) at m.FastTech.com

hi and welcome!

ETA: I suggested the RDA, as it might be easier to test juices until you get your nic level and pg/vg ratios right.

I'm tired of the windows in my house and car being constantly fogged up with vape residue

After being "forced into" 30PG/70VG or "maximum VG" by the low-priced e-juice sites...I, too, was becoming overwhelmed with the "VG Fog" on my windows...

(I live in a corner apartment where the outside walls are ALL glass.)

I switched to 70PG/30VG e-juices and 50PG/50VG (when the 70PG/30VG is sometimes a little tough on my throat)...and the lessening of the fog is noticeable...

But 50PG/50VG and 70PG/30VG e-juices can be a little hard to find...

LNW has excellent flavors and great prices...but only has available 50PG/50VG...Buy E-Liquid and Ejuice on Sale - Cheap E Juice 120mL and 60mL and Vape Juice Wholesale | LNW

Tmaxx has excellent flavors and good prices...and offers BOTH 50PG/50VG and 70PG/30VG...Tmaxx's No Frills Ml's

@The Yeti - If you want a really good MTL RTA, IMO I'd suggest the Berserker 24mm and/or the Mini 22mm. Both provide terrific flavor, extremely smooth vapor, have a very easy build deck, are stingy with juice consumption, are compact, etc. They come with 2 tanks in different sizes (Ultem in 2mL + Glass in 4.5mL) and 2 types of drip tips in the 24mm regular size; and in the Mini 22mm size it comes with 3 tanks (1 Steel, 1 Ultem, 1 Glass all in 2mL) and the 2 types of drip tips. They're my all time favorite RTA as of 3-4 months ago. Now, my KFL+V2 "shorty" RTA's sit idle because of it. Many other TPers like them, too!

Vapor Range has them on sale (in Black only now), in the 24mm size for just $14.95. Use the coupon code holiday10percent and get another 10% off that price = $13.46 + Free S/H.

Has anybody here tried the Eleaf GS Juni tank? From the description and pucture it looks very much like a newer version of the GS Air tanks but easier to fill. And uses the same coils.

I'm thinking of trying one. FT has the authentic ones for $10.

Really, @petrotech ? I have some stuff I'd be happy to hand over for $10. All I need to do is get the husband to rake up the dog's area to attend to his business, I'll make sure it's all in a tamper resistant pouch, and send it your way. I'll even eat the shipping cost.

I think you mean vaping related, but that's a statement that may need a qualifier, at least for me, this morning. I think I need to change my banner and add a statement like, "Not responsible for my behavior, today." Some sort of blanket, upfront apology. I'm making chamomile tea, but man, I'm still not sure how much it will get me to "chilled out" which is really my preferred state of being.

I'm just checking in. I got this sxk prime in black and gold the other day. It doesn't have the wobble that I've noticed with some others. That's a replacement PC "glass" on there. It replaces the top section of the tanks as well.
I've grown to like the 1mm air setting on the Berserker, but the 1mm setting on this has an easier draw, which is the only disappointment I have with this one.
I got an email from Origin last night and they finally got some authentic Primes in and are sending me one along with the ultem conversion. If it gets here by Friday I'm calling it a birthday present. I've heard that if you don't grow up by the time you turn 50 then you don't have to. Only a few days left.

Thanks Guys! The Berserker looks very promising, I went ahead and ordered one. :)

Since I'm new to the whole MTL thing, what kind of coils are you guys building on these RTAs, and how much wattage are you using? I typically just build single wire, 3mm ID Kanthal coils in the .4 ohm range and run it at 45 watts on an OBS Engine, direct lung. I mix my juice at 3mg, 50/50 but that can easily be altered.

Thanks again!
