Little Miss @Katdarling swears in a manner that would make a sailor blush , and the only reason it's not known or seen here is because she CAN'T.
A person after my own heart is miss @Katdarling. During all my years in the public eye I had to watch what I said but since I retired 5 years ago…

My hub gets a kick out of watching people's reaction to me when my choice word flies out of my mouth repeatedly. I guess people must think that a small 67 year-old woman should not speak that way. :p:eek:

LOL, and thank you!

Loved your choice of words. ;)

I doubt it will surprise anyone to know that sometimes she gets on such a roll that she actually makes up new curse words.

I've actually used a few of the better ones.

Hmmm.... (sorry, Kat!)

I know, I know...

If the FDA ever gets a shred of common sense, K&me will have a fire sale ("CHEAP!!!") of potentially memorable proportions.

Well...DP...nice sentiment...but...a little philosophically impure...

IF FDA finds shred of common sense...DP & Kat will now have LOTS of unneeded back-up equipment...they'll have a Fire Sale of Potentially Memorable Proportions...but...NO ONE else will any longer need as many items for back-up equipment...because...FDA has found shred of common sense...

Geez, Ger - the number of likely erroneous assumptions you had to leap with there is almost laughable.

Shall I continue? Your call. :pop:

Gerri makes a good point.

IF Fuda finds a brain cell and backs off, the industry won't be crippled by them. Yeah, right, that's going to happen. But presuming it does, no crippled industry, and I won't need 42 backups (and a towel), so I can have a yard sale. But, because the industry isn't crippled, newer and (at lest theoretically) better stuff will be readily available, so it would be pennies on the dollar, as DP says.

I think we're all in agreement that FuDA isn't smart enough to realize they need to find a brain cell, so the yard sale is off and I'll keep my 42 backups rolled up in towels :)

The chances of anything positive happening in the near future are certainly dim, but it remains inevitable that common sense will eventually prevail. Maybe in our lifetimes, and maybe not.

What should never be lost though is how literally insignificant the industry we know today is. Based on common knowledge, there are approximately 10-14M vapers in the world, while the number of smokers is closer to 1B. That puts current market penetration at approx. 1%.

If vaping were to lose all stigma, and legislative stupidity, what is a reasonable expectation for the market? 100M? 500M? Who knows, but it's pretty much guaranteed to dwarf everything we know today, numbers wise.

Keep in mind that I'm not even factoring in how small we ECF'ers are in relation to just the current market. I'm making this point because one assumption is that anything we'd look to sell would be limited to audience here. The large majority of the vaping market takes place well outside of these walls already, as anyone who has ever listed something on Facebook can attest to. It's almost not worth the effort (due to the barrage of incoming messages).

My ultimate point on this still early morning is that if and when common sense prevails, there will be plenty of people looking for quality vape gear. That is NOT our plan, and there's not a single item we've purchased with any idea other than it will be with us to the end.

It is better to have and not need than to need and not have.

But would we be THRILLED if the day comes that hoarders "lose" (for lack of a better term)? You bet your bootah we would be (thrilled).

So, casting all assumptions aside, whether or not an idea is "philosophically impure" is certainly a matter of potential debate.

Now if we want to talk about actual "impurities", well, I'm full of 'em.

As would we all! Although I still think that if that were to miraculously happen, nobody would want any of my "retro" stash! :w00t:
