    Hey tp’ers

I’m hoping you can help me out. As many of you know I rebuild but recently (6mos) have been using a smoke infinix pod device for taking out and about to cut down on pocket size.

So I have to say I do like the infinix - the airflow and vapour production are good (not perfect) but the flavour is relatively good even compared to my high end gear.

The problem is the battery life. I don’t remember if it was much better when new and has degraded or if it’s always been poor. I’ve now given the device to my girlfriend who has recently stopped vaping(yay!)

She too really likes the form factor and the vape (coming from the nicolas on istick pico) she finds the hit with higher mg nicotine (12-20) to be satisfying and it keeps her from smoking.

    TL;DR
For any of you who tried the infinix or Juul but found the battery lacking - have you found a very small system (probably pod or small
Stick style) you like as much or more for higher mg vaping that can last a work day / evening out without worry) and works well for tony women pockets? Is the t18 stuff still around? I think even that is too big for her. I think slim not length is the main issue. Maybe the sourin drop or similar? I think something like the penguin is too bulky. I’ve seen the biip bussardo venture but it too looks big. I’m guessing it needs to be 650mah minimum with a 1.6 or higher coil for the kind of vape and battery life we need.

    Thanks for the help!!

Have a look at Innokins' EQs pod. I use mine when I'm outside working, and it's perfect for pocket carry. The flavour is awesome too.

I quit smoking using a t18 kit - and the EQs has a pretty similar draw.

    Happy Camel/Hump Day....

    Where's Burnie?........:)

Went to one of my local vape stores last Friday and got me a Aegis Solo,it works great!!! It goes down to 5 watts in Power Mode,In my opinion it's great for Tootle Puffin'.

I don't like three things about the Solo:

    1. The fire button, which I find too small and too flush. Much prefer the button on the Aegis 100W.

    2. The flimsy-feeling handle on the battery cap.

    3. The instability of the mod. This last is possibly only a problem for those like me who often set objects down at an angle because they can't tell if things are straight without looking. This makes mods with small and, especially, round feet--e.g., the Solo, the SL Mini, or any tube mod--a little tricky for me.

I still like the Solo, but it has kindled in me a passion for the Aegis 100W. Now that fellow is hard to tip over.

Definitely agree with you on this...seems to me a part that gets manipulated daily for battery charging could have been of a more of a durable quality. It feels as though I could strip the threads easy enough if not paying attention and over time the threads wearing out....We'll see.

That worries me too with the Solo. It takes quite a lot of force to get the cover on and off. There's a slot in the middle of the cap that looks like you could use a coin to turn it but I tried and couldn't budge it.

One of mine came with dodgy threads too. It wouldn't go all the way in. I forced it with a screwdriver in the handle and it felt like something gave way and it went a bit further in. I screwed it in and out a few times then took it off, there was a bunch of small metal shavings on the end of the battery. It's getting looser now after a bit of use.

They are a little wobbly. I've seen a few comments about it. I suspect there may be a general problem making a perfectly flat base with rubber.

I have an Aegis Mini which is even more wobbly. There's a place on the bottom where there are 6 small partly cut out holes which presumably are designed to give way for venting, the rubber bulges a bit in that area making it unstable.

Thinking about that made me wonder how venting works on the Solo. Can't see anything.

I love Naughty Minnie's. I always have to drill out one of the airflow holes, though. I find even the most open setting to be too tight for me. But once I take 10 seconds to do that, it's a lovely tank.
Tell me, how do you do that? I'll try it.

Funny, a lot of my tanks have airflow control, but I run all of them wide open.

Sorta searching for a new place to hang here on ecf.

After years, (and abandonment of the company), the Halo section is closed.

I will miss the number's game.

But i'm sure the others will find other hangouts.

You need a 5/64" drill bit and any sort of drill at all, since the metal is pretty soft. Position the airflow hole over any of the inner holes. Drill until you feel a slight give. This should take about a second or less. Don't worry about hurting anything else-you won't, unless you drill in pretty far.

Glad to have another puffer in the fold. This may not be a very busy place anymore, but if you blurt something out, someone will almost assuredly blurt back.

We need to find a way to spread the word to the legions of pod users that they are tootle puffers, too. Something they should be proud of.

That numbers game was fun in it's time and I won a few Menthol Ices myself! Glad you're here with us!

Glad you did - and all is well with him and me. (except he might want my mods...)
Of course he does. Everybody wants your mods. You're the Bling Kween!

You should go into the mod blinging business, if you aren't already. I know I'd have a mod or two for you to do a makeover on.

Hey DP, just being the usual late night party crasher for old time sake. It's been a while and I hope you're doing well. I'm just a TP'n it away old style.
