I've got a couple of those hen's teeth...if the Tobecco ones are what you're asking about. They're new in their boxes. Also have a couple of the authentic Erls, too...still NIB.
OK tootlers, I need some help. During my time away I pretty much went back to smoking and ignored my vape gear. Blame the pandemic, or life knocking me down a bit, or who knows. Anywho, that's one of the reasons I came back to ECF. So, a week later I finally found the time to set up a build area and a mixing area, and to start going through things. Figured I'd pull out something easy to build on, and for the moment anyway MTL, ignoring my DL gear.
So I pulled out an atty, not in a box, and thought "Hmmm, that looks like a MTL RTA, but I don't 'member it at all, what is this???"
I'll take pics later if need be, but wondered if anyone might have a clue what this tank is. On the bottom it says Wismec, designed by jaybo, and Inspired by SMM. Looks to be designed as a single coil build deck with wick tails hanging down into the tank, and a plug blocking off the other side of the deck.
Any ideas? Regardless, think I'm gonna pop a coil in and see what it's like.

Never mind, figured it out. Theorem. And despite the tiny drip tip and single coil build, it seems that it may not be designed for MTL after all. Still gonna get this one up and going tonight. Just gotta find my ohm meter.
I never had a Theorem but have had some similar "Genesis(ish)" styles. Most allow for you to shut the air down pretty tight. I thought that the Theorem does too, but am not 100% on that.
I vape everything MTL, even ones with fairly open airflows. I've hiccupped occasionally, but am usually pretty okay with them. Some of the really tighter ones, such as the Kayfun V2L (or whatever it's called) are a bit tight for my tastes. If you like a really tight draw though, those might be a good choice. I've seen some clones here on the classifieds for pretty cheap, if that helps at all.
Well, have my Theorem sitting on a Snowwolf Mini, built an SS316 coil, but TC doesn't seem to work well on it, might be the mod. Also pulled out a Merlin, used the coil it came with since I had never used it. Sitting on an old Joyetech VTC Mini. Had some initial leakage but it seems to have stopped. Not sure why it happened.
I am definitely out of practice cutting wicks to the right size.
Right now thinking I like the Merlin better than the Theorem.
Next up, getting one of my Coppervape squonkers set up, but most likely that won't be TootlePuffy, thinking of putting my Goon on it and seeing if I can still blow big cloudz.

After years of vaping, both dtl and mtl but usually at wattages above 40 or 50, I realized this week the most satisfaction I get is with a small coil in my mtl rda and vaping at 10 watts. Guess im finally out of the closet and accepting that I am indeed a tootle puffer at heart.
I liked the Merlin, but mine would leak on me. It would be fine after first wicking it, but after a refill it would start flooding. Never had an issue after filling mine. At least as long as I made sure to close the juice flow holes off first. I actually bought 4 back in the day.
I recall that one of those genre tanks (what was that girl's name again?) had a reputation for some leakage but I can't speak with any first hand knowledge.

But maybe they broke up and he ended up with Ruby (but I don't know if that's the case). They did do shows together for quite a while.
She's not who I was thinking of though, which was a name that I recalled shortly after typing, "Ruby something?". In all candor, I realized afterwards that continuing on might open some old wounds which, quite frankly, I don't have much interest in reliving.
Vape, like many things in this history of humanity, went through its own period of stupidly divisive behavior. Many contributing factors, with no one thing or person to blame, but we became groups divided (not just at the forum level) at a time when it probably wasn't in our best interests.
Could we have saved Vape (as it existed) if we hung as one? Probably not. The Machine we were up against was much bigger and stronger than we were, but I'd have rather fallen as a single group, fighting together, than the way that we did go, which was as many splintered groups; each with its own plans & ideas.

Yes, I was going to tell you who you were thinking of but thought better of it.
So, since i've been experiementing more with these high ohm coils, i decided to wrap a 28g coil for my sure rta which came out to 1.4ohms. I gotta say this rta at high ohms running at 12 watts is bringing out more flavors from my tobacco juices then i ever got from sub ohming. I had a bunch of juice i made up in 12mg to prepare for mtl and the flavor depth is so much better.
I was getting good flavor sub ohming but it seems now it was kinda one dimensional with one aspect of the flavor being dominant and pretty much all you could taste. Now i'm getting these really nice aspects of the flavor that hang out a bit in your mouth and have given me a whole new experience.
I have noticed though that my mtl rta's like the sure rta seem to give more depth of flavor by alot than i get from my mtl rda's. Guess the smaller chambers and the tube that runs through the center give way more focused flavor. Really happy i made the switch. Don't see myself ever going back to clouds.

Another potentially useful thing is that, at least when tootle-puffing, drip tips MATTER.
