It is a great idea except that you have to heat the shrink wrap to make it shrink onto the battery. I hear that a blow dryer isn't enough heat. And, I'm nervous about using anything hotter around a battery.

I did a search on youtube and found this vid. I think this will help.

You finally got around to it, Enaud? Ha!

I've since had hubby widen two opposite holes (5/64ths bit) on a used up and gutted non Nauty BVC, horizontal coil with 30 ga., and wick with cellu cotton. Use them in the mini Subtank and the nano Subtank too.

To make the nano Subtank glass fit better, had him drill out the end of the upper section where the tiny silicone grommet is seated and can be popped out. The older smaller hole BVC's can be taken apart. All that's left of the top section then is a round tube with two larger holes nearer the bottom. It snaps back together with the bottom part and you're ready to recoil and wick.

I take the silicone grommet that slides down the chimney and covers the ProTank 2 wicks and use that to cover the bottom of the nano Subtank's air shaft which when put all together butts up to the top of my modded "open ended" coil and seals from ejuice entry.

Works well for my 9 to 10 watt tootle puffing ways with no leaking. Have yet to use the coils that came with the nano SubTank. :)
I thought it was you! Thanks again CCG :) I've pulled a bunch of the BVC's apart, I'm sticking to just re-building the PT2 heads. I get enough life out the BVC's that I don't mind tossing them when I'm done. I haven't been using my PT2's as much, and I just decided to order some of those adaptors so I can put them back into the rotation. The drilled out aero bases are working pretty good for just the right amount of airflow for me.

Is this when I admit to a bit of OCD :p

Someone recently stated that they were CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in the right, alphabetic order like they should be....

cool, once you get a handle on the "bcc" coils it just works great... IMO

always loved these once I found them
- RBC MadVapes Glossy Clearomizer, Clear | Madvapes
- 3.5mL NBC Tanks | Madvapes
- The GBC Clearomizers | Madvapes

With the exception of the Lemo for NET juices, these EBC/RBC/GBC tanks are all I've used since I began. Simple and inexpensive tootle gear.

I had chickens for eggs but they can be MEAN when you go to get them.

Wouldn't YOU be mean if someone came for YOUR eggs? A recent bumper sticker sighting: (Picture of egg) It's a chicken, not a choice!

I don't know what the laws are where he lives, but here in the US I think that's illegal everywhere but Nevada.:D

You're thinking or renting, not buying. My first purchase was defective after 7 months. The last one I bought 16 years ago is still in perfect order!

@AndriaD I was writing a @Vapez style death metal song while dealing with Time Warner recently. It resulted in the termination of 12 years of service and I'm now on Grande for internet. Happy Hump day.

This is currently my full-time vape. 1.2 Ohm coil of 30g with embiggened air holes, on a series of eGo and Vision Spinner batteries. I can get a tight direct-lung hit and will constantly pull and puff till the battery cuts out. I've little use for big, fancy tanks and mods. Kept me going for years.

Personally, I think the red on black configuration is dead sexy. Red on the SS sticks make it look more classy and elegant.

These things intrigue me. What do you guys use them with?

I have a couple of heat guns (I'm an artist/crafter) and it shrinks so fast, I was amazed. You are done long before the battery would get hot.

back in the day I used mine on the mighty MVP 2.0 (11w)
I was the coolest kid on the block, a perfect set up...

Will they work on this?

Sigelei ZMAX V3 Telescopic Variable Mod

They're practically giving those away at Vaporrange at $9.95. I can't figure out what kind of battery they take, flat top or nipple end.

The ZMax will take either flat or nipple, I use both in mine.

Thanks. If I prefer the 18350 in order to keep it short, is either battery option still available? I'm ignorant about batteries and not even sure if you can get 18350 batteries in either flat or nipple.

Also, do you know if those clearomizers you guys were talking about will work with this device?

yepper, ZMAX has the old school ego/510 thread head on it...
at first it was notorious for stripping out the soft threads, but believe
it has been remedied since...

I almost got one -back in the day- just never did ?
now, time has kinda pass'd it by - but heck $10 bucks
that SMOK S.I.D. was on the short list too (18650 only)

- VAMO V6 20 Watt - Clearanced Mods - Electronic Mods
- Innokin iTaste SVD 2.0 Kit - Black
- iTaste SVD 2.0, Black | Madvapes
- Smok SID $19.99 - Smok - By Brand

Soooooooooooooo

A different colour perhaps :p
I'm starting to figure out how this shinyitis thing works. I mean, a different color would make perfect sense, right? Plus, I could get a mini this time. That's something totally different.
