Been looking at the
Provari site for a couple months now off n on. The sale stock is dwindling..I think I should maybe get one...never had one so it's a little confusing...the 2.5, there is a satin and a polished..which matches best with KF5 and other SS tanks? Is the polished the same color? I see that it is all in Volts ratings. So how many watts can it go to? Does it max at 20?
Do I have to buy any accessory rings to make it sit flush with a KF5 or 22-23mm devices? I've seen some pics before with nautilus reg. (Don't have one but just saying). Not fitting flush on it? Is the 18650 size a very large mod? Or the mini a better option? Thanks for any advice..

So Satin finish seems to math the V5 well. Polished is a high shine you dont want thaat one. Get a Provari tank ring to make everything match at the atomizer 22mm. The larger size is slightly wandish but manageable ive had worse. The mini battery life is super annoying I say stay away from there unless changing battery's 4 times a day is ok. As far as power goes I think the 2.5 will deliver about 15w maybe a little more. It works just like VW does you just turn it up to get the heat range your after and leave it. 1.5ohm Kayfun5 is a great vape on the Provari at 5v and you should get 16.5w so I am thinking it will hit 20w max.

Cosmic, for most people, you really can't go wrong with a Provi, and at the current prices, it's almost a gimme to get one (unless you're a high wattage vaper).

The polished is shiny, but it goes well with a non-polished tank (IMO). Yes, it's the same color as the satin, but polished.

As far as flush fits go, you can simply add a beauty ring to give it that oh-so-often desired flat top look. (pics comin' at ya)

Volts watts, schmoltz schmatz. Here. Take a look at the numbahs.

The standard is really only slightly larger (appx. 1/2 inch) taller than the mini, and will give you much more in batt run time (18350 vs 18490). With an extension (18650) you'll be a tad taller, but even longer run times. It's truly a matter of personal preference and needs.

NO arguments from me (a v2.5 lover), but heads up @Cosmic_Glaze on one (often-overlooked) potential issue.

That version has a 3.5 amp limit, and that's what will likely get you well before you hit 20w. As an example, with a 1.0 coil, you'd hit that 3.5 limit at (exactly & just coincidentally) 3.5 volts (12.25 watts).

If you regularly vape at higher watts, I'm not sure that I'd recommend the v2.5 for you. :(

I just didn't want you to go out and order one, then discover this later (via the dreaded "E2" error code that some of us are familiar with).

18650 mode or bust! It's the only way to fly.

I apologize for not seeing this with my early-morning eyes.

I didn't even think to try with a higher resistance coil, because I just assume most are using low ohms now. This is actually much better than what I had used, and gets the wattage up to 18 (via 5.2v) before topping out.

Cards on table, thanks for listening (indulging?).

Happy shopping, TP'ers. It's almost Black Friday!!!

In fact, I received a package just today with a bunch of coils for the Egg Rolls. Tomorrow or the next day another will arrive, with premade RTA coils.

Yeah - I'm lazy, but they're pretty cheap, and work GREAT (for me).

I'll begin my next cart soon. :D
I think they recommend 1.5 to 2.0 ohms? Something like that with 1.8 being the magic number I think.

The satin is pretty much a dull gray. I'm not knocking it. In fact I kind of like it, but I was a bit surprised when I first got it. You can't set watts on the 2.5 but will adjust the volts. It's not a problem. Just a different way to adjust temps. I've bought six of them from the specials page over the past few months, figuring they would be my main stash mods.

I guess moving is good for someone who vapes. Cleaning out end tables,a and night stands. I found things, I didn't even know I had.

Top it off with the diy from the kitchen. And I have another box ready to go.

I like it too. It's actually one of my favorite finishes, and is almost as tough as the ZenKotes, probably because it's media-blasted. Can't go wrong if it covers your vape style.
