In another forum we spell it backwards - wons - so the cuss filter wont catch itECF software should edit that word, it is a 4 letter word.
Take apart, hook the top like a hinge, then close it at the bottom and press together. Should fit better than that.Does anyone know how I can set these together so it's flush? Is there some kind of trick?

Because the resistance of a cold wire is different than the resistance of a hot wire.
That's what makes TC work.
You "lock in" the cold wire resistance, and TC then tracks the resistance as the wire heats up keeping your desired temp constant.
