You mean AW (Andrew Wan) batteries?
emoji38.png

Probably the most cloned batteries?

At least they were not long ago.

Tapatyped

Jeez, way to cast doubt on and smear the reputation of one of the pioneers of 'safer' vaping batteries. Someone that has done more for battery saftey as it relates to our use than anyone else I can think of.
Long before Mooch there was AW, but as folks do, few listened & many ignored and ridiculed the 'saftey police'.

The most frequently 'cloned' batteries are and have been for years the sony vtc4, vtc5 & Lghg2 to a lesser extent the Samsung blue wrap 25r.
None of these manufactures have done a single thing to prevent or lessen the likelihood of an end consumer getting their hands on a fake cell. The above fake/clone cells are widely distributed today.
That's why most folks suggest buying cells only from reputable vendors.

AW almost immediately after becoming aware of the fake / clone cells with their name on them put anti counterfeiting measures in place.
This was several years ago.
They made several public statements sharing those measures & advising all customers to only buy from authorized AW re sellers / vendors.

That is why I recommend ---> http://www.rtdvapor.com/aw/ for all battery purchases.

I think I need a glass of wine.

After reading some of you antics, I think that's the last thing you need

We don't need another vaping disaster on our hands, it is so important to learn about ohms law, battery safety, amp draw, battery charging ect ect...... Was you really trying to take the screws out of the mod to put the battery in your Pico, if your so unsure, read the instruction booklet.

Please be careful, after reading some of your posts with utter shock and amazement I think it would be safer if you bought yourself a Juul...or at least slow down a little a listen to what these knowledgeable people are telling you.

I don't say this to belittle you either but I really fear that something is going to go very wrong unless you take a few steps back.

I have the Hana ONE, and like nilesong, I think it's a great little mod for the price. I also think it's flimsy build-wise, but it has features that I really like. It's rubberized exterior is super durable, the lack of weight is incredible, so it's suits my needs as an O&A device. I also agree that it prolly won't win in the longevity department (those little plastic tabs are bound to snap and break). All that said, I like it very much, and I was fortunate to receive another as a gift!

I top mine with pretty much anything and everything. And in answer to you, @Bea-FL, I'd say that perhaps the Egg Rolls are somewhat similar. I happen to like them a LOT more. They've become some of my all time favorite pop-in coil tanks!

Awww, thanks, Zen K. All for fun. :)
I'm thinking of trying the egg roll.
From what I understand the only difference between the cl & the clr coils is the clr is rebuild able.
Is this correct?
Also congrats on 6 years!!!

Ummm....okaaaay. Guess I know when to make my exit
Not at all, just thinking about your safety, I have seen these type of batteries vent and explode, it's not something to be taken lightly and I would rather look the bad one here to avoid an injury.

Thanks for stepping up and setting the record straight and for recommending RTD. I trust Randy.

Me too. What's been stopping me is all the literature on ECF and elsewhere about leaking. There seem to be just as many who say it does as who say it doesn't. To be clear, I dont know the folks who complain of leakage. And leakage is my deal-breaker.

How about it ego one v2 users, would you mind sharing your opinion - I trust you guys.

Don't take offence from Rixsta, he wasn't being mean, believe he was just looking out for you, accidents can and do happen with ecigs, and most of the time it is from people not knowing what they are doing, most of the people who been vaping years, started on cig a likes and worked up slowly, where most people nowadays are jumping in head first without doing their research, but your a step ahead, as you do ask the right questions, so keep researching and enjoy yourself :)

Please don't leave. Nobody here wants to kill your enthusiasm, but we don't want to kill YOU either.

This isn't ebay, so most of the time the deals will still be there for a few days. Howzaboutit if you make a new rule that you can fill the carts, make accounts, and all that other fun shopping stuff, but no checking out for at least 24 hours after the last shiney goes in the cart?

You missed out on the insanity in here when the dooming first came out and we were all stocking up like crazy squirrels. It was fun, but I'm sure many of us bought things that may not have been the best idea down the road. It was really hard to resist some of the deals and excitement, but at least for me, stopping to do a bit of research from other sources kept me from getting something that one poster thought was the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I knew would not fit my style and end up sitting in the box waiting to stabilise a wonky chair leg. ;)

Find a few stores that you really like and stick with them if they treat you well. Again, some stores may not be for everyone, but your experience is the best way to know who you like. They may not be the cheapest on everything, but if you get on their list and shop with them frequently, you will get good deals on the stuff you like.

Remember, the most important thing is to stay off the stinkies and enjoy your new hobby.

@ChelsB , I'll have to echo @cats5365 , it is very good and sound advice. I believe @Rixta was truly meaning well, but often times it is not what we say, but how we say it that makes a difference. I have literally a huge drawer full of stuff I bought on the spur of the moment that on second thought I shouldn't have spent my money on. You are off analogs, use whatever keeps off them, take a step back and look at your purchases, figure them out. Don't take offense if what we say sound mean or off putting, we mean well. After all, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

    @Katdarling congratulations!

The CL coils are pretty bad unlesd you're using real thin juice. The CLR coils - aside from being rebuildable - also have larger, adjustable juice ports, and are, imo, superior in most every way.

I love the Ego One V2 WITH THE CLR COIL. Maybe some of the complaints are from the original coils, which were not the greatest. The 1.0 ohm CLR coil is suggested for MTL Tootle Puffers like us. Anyone who orders the CLR coils, be sure NOT to get the .5, as this is reported to be a much more airy draw. I have not had leaking issues. We have a dozen or so Ego One tanks in use, for at least 6 months now, and have only put aside ONE COIL that I accidentally shorted out while rewicking. There is an Ego One thread with many names you will recognize from this thread. It is located here, and you can get all the advice you will need: eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil
The thread has been going for over a year and the most recent info is near the end. It is a long thread, full of friendly people! Hope you get the answers you are looking for. The Ego One gets my vote. We've used Nautilus, various Eleaf including GS Air line, some Kangers and Halo and we like the Ego Ones the most.
BUT ONLY WITH THE REBUILDABLE 1.0 COIL!!!
