The Liberty Valance Effect lives on ("When the legend becomes fact, print the legend.")

The P3 connector is definitely a lot tougher than a 510, but the 510s are fine too. In five-plus years I've dropped dozens. The next one I break will be my first.

Again - the P3 is a lot tougher, but options favor the 510, and by a ridiculously large margin too. I recall exactly when & where the term "Structurally weak" got associated with the 510. It's not the first time that someone tried & failed to eliminate 510's from the market. The interesting thing is that it's the same person, over and over again.

It is my opinion that the term "Structurally weak" overstates a problem that effects a relatively small percentage of vapers. Then there's the reality that the P3 connector is simply never going to eradicate the 510's, and it's unlikely that it will ever even assume a significant share of the market. If it ever does become the norm, I'll jump all over it. But I'll wait for the market to determine that, and continue buying all-compatible 510's so I can use them on all of my devices.

KR808 was going to take over too, back in '`12(ish), and how many do we see still hanging around these days? Not many.

@MikeADore how much would you be spending if you still smoked? I bet it's a lot more than the cost of the Radius and the tank. And, since you're still a young and studly guy, you have years ahead of you that you'll probably be vaping. And with the idiotic FDA rules you may not be able to buy what you want later on, especially if non-replacables or AIOs are all we can get. And you need to reward yourself on your vapeversary.

Ok, did I give you enough reasons to get the tank and the Radius?
Actually, I was spending considerably more on vaping than I would have smoking for a good part of the year, but it evened out toward the end of the year. Keep in mind I was stocking up, though. Hard to save money when you're stocking equipment and, especially, nic.

I don't know for sure, but I sorta doubt I'll wind up with a Radius. For $170, I could buy five Picos, an Oppo atty and an ultrasonic cleaner and still spend less. Not that I'm going to buy five more Picos since I already have four, but the point is valid.

I'm tempted on the Oppo for sure. We'll see.

I know what you mean. After I bought everything I wanted for the dark ages I was a little overwhelmed at the amount of money I had spent until I divided that by the 15 or so years all this stuff will last me and it sure was less than I would have spent for cigs, even if I add in VG/PG/flavors which all I have to buy now.

Before y'all jump on the Oppo tank like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat, keep in mind that little thing is anything but MTL. They even mention the big air for your vapor enjoyment....or some such. If you want something close to MTL, then probably the Merlin mini, at least that one has swappable decks for single and dual coils.

That's my biggest fear with it.

Not what i heard. I heard tgey were closing out the old tech and going forward with the radius and other new products

Makes sense. It seems like overall, the industry has moved away from devices that look like sex toys.

I prepped enough pt2 coils to last about the same.

Btw. USPS surprised me again! This time a good thing.
Got my ego 1 V2 tank with some clr coils today!!!
2 days from Colorado to Virginia is good!
Now for the bath!
I will hopefully be vaping it tomorrow!!!
From West of Denver, that's great.

From east of Denver, that SHOULD be about standard.

I understand obviously it's not in your case.

And of course there's winter hassles to deal with in logistics.

I just pulled a load from Salt Lake City to Denver and one from Denver to DC this week, myself.

Did not know that.
But with usps I have had packages from Wisconsin take the Tampa Bay,Fl route.
Then sit down there for 4 days before it started back up to VA.
Logic and the postal system don't always go together.
But I know they go through a lot of packages.

A stockpile doesn't have to be expensive. My goal is high confidence of vaping off the grid for 10 years and may be as long as 20 if everything performs better than planned. I made a list a year ago (see below) of which items and the number i would stock and am sticking to it so far. May be in 2018 if products are still available and the crackdown seems even more likely I'll decide to stock more but that's a year and some months away. I suppose the point is I'm getting it done for $650, less than what I used to spend to smoke for 3 months. The stockpiled mods and atomizers are stored and not in service. I might buy additional items for daily use, the way I would if there was no possibility of government interference but I'm not looking for anything that might make me dissatisfied with what's going in the stockpile. Ignorance is bliss.

I don't order from MFS unless it's waaay clearanced. They're based here in NC so not only do I get charged shipping but sales tax as well. If I buy nicotine from them I'm taxed 75 cents on every dollar of the nic. I buy my nic from either nicotine River or nude nic.

Where do you usually like to buy?
