Something just struck me... if the barrel and the tank are both threaded and assembled together, is there any binding when screwing the base on?

I see they are both the same thread pitch, but they are still two separate sets of threads.

No binding whatsoever. The short Kayfun in my avatar that bellcap has seen 16 months of day in day out usage. Rewicking every 2-3 days when i used cotton, and every 10-14 days since i went to Rayon.

Tge bellcap is still as good as the day I got it. The only real harm is getting the base Cross threaded and ruining tge bellcap threads.

I turn tge base backward till the base drops in tge threads before screwing the base into tge barrel and bellcap sets ot threads.

Not sure if I do either? I just want my vape to taste good so I use a variety of different set-ups. From a nautilus 1.6 ohm on a pico - to a boreas on a g-priv. Some of my ejuice(I DIY) just taste better at a lower ohm and some do at a higher one. Not sure I really fit in a nitch anywhere. Just trying to keep off the stinkies.

Yep, that's the ONLY important thing!

Not just the resistance of the coil, imo. Flavors taste different at different power levels, and each has it's own spot, depending on personal tastes.

Thanks for the welcome all!

How do you like your e-pipe? And welcome!

Love them. I've got several, ranging from the one mentioned above to a 1.5Ω, to 510 cigalike cartos. All the same (give or take) batteries. All good in their own way.

I've got some Magnum Snaps minis from EPufer too, for when I want to tootle stealthily.

Although the labels are fun, I still think of myself and all of us as vapers.

We have so much in common - liquid, wick, wire and batteries. Everything else is hobby or taste variations.

@Two_Bears last summer I bought a monster mini and per your advice I bought a Kayfun lite plus. I found that the Monster base was too airy for MTL and you suggested I switch the Monster base with the KL+ base. That worked. So now I use the Monster tank and barrel with the KL+ base (1st photo). There is no chimney/cone in this. Not counting the 510 pin and driptip it measures 30.16mm (rounded to 30mm). To me it looks like to what you've been suggesting in the last few pages and I assume this is the smallest it can be.

So if this is it, all I need is replacement bells (how likely are they to break BTW?) and spare screws and o-rings?Please verify I got it right. Thanks.

You're a doll for being so patient with us and explaining all this over and over

Thats the shortest Kayfun i know. I think the Pico and Tiny tanks are royghly the same size.

All you need us spare bell caps, O rings, screws to trap leads, and possibly an extra base or three.

About durability these acrylic bell caps have impressed me.

See the little Kayfun in my avatar? I have used it day in day out for 16 months. I will say I am careful not to cross the threads and strip tge bell cap threads.

The ONLY mainteneance i have had to do to tge little beastie is replace the original O ring on tge Kayfun base, and stripped the threads on one of tge screws that trap the leads.

I originally pside $5.43 for beastie with Monster Mini V3 base and thought it would be garbage. This little guy has been less trouble than several other attys i have used

Lemo 2. It leaked more in one day than my short Kayfun has in 16 montgsy

Aqua V2. Same thing.

Bellus same thing

Authentic Kayfun Mini V3 same thing

Goblin Mini after 10 months the threads where barrel meets chimney stripped and could not get it to go together.

The Absolutely cheapest RTA i could find out lasted all of them above.

Since you have one i have a question for you. What do you think of tge flavor.

It may be my imagination but i think thus little beastie has a little better flavor than a standard Kayfun.

Flavor is great! Keep in mind I don't do "flavors" per se. I only use a tiny amount of menthol and koolada in my juice, mainly for the cold blast that has sort of replaced the TH.

The menthol flavor is stronger in the monster than in my GS Airs that I use with the P. mini but then again Provaris are known to have a more mellow flavor than other mods. I use the monster on my pico because it's too wide for the P. mini without the ring which I'm too lazy to dig out.

I too stripped the thread on one of the lead screws the very first time I coiled it. The dayum thing was screwed in too tight at the factory.

Technically, even if you removed the threads from the bell cap, the threads on the barrel would hold everything together.

That was supposed to be killer. Intelisense changed the word and didn't catch it. I did correct the typos in that Post.
so yeah I sub ohm exclusively and my lungs prefer the sensation of huge clouds and go thru 30ml a day guess I'm on the chopping block:D

Yes i bought tge little Atty to be a beater Atty so i didn't ruin my Silverplay Nano on the bus or dropping it buf tge dang thing won me over and ubsold 2/3rds of my Silverplay Nano i stocked up on.

I thought the flavor was a little better than a regular Kayfun. I think it is better because thus has NO conical chimney and a shorter path from coil to mouth.

Hey you're not like Rip Trippers who acts like everyone has to vape at 100+ watts and blow Giant clouds.

We don't kick people out unless they cause too much trouble.

Yes it would hold together.

The only problem would be it may leak ejuice if the threads are stripped where the base screws into the bellcap.

Oh, @Uncle - don't be silly. Just like (contrary to popular practices & beliefs) there are no true walls on the interwebs, there are no nostrils either.

It's all just an illusion.
