I would imagine the resistance on that monstrosity to be way below sane level and unless he's using a G2, he's tap dancing in the mine field.
The suggestion for a true rta tank is a very good one. I understand some people's frustration with the new kayfuns but the mini v3 at roughly 0.8 ohms on the Skillet will probably keep you happy for quite a while. First things first, get a very good idea of the type of draw you like. MTL draw has its range and what one person likes another may consider too loose or too tight. Start there, baby steps that will save you a lot of frustration and money in the long run. And above all else, ask questions, research, shop around and stay off analogs.:toast:

That's one thing I know for sure. That I'll stay off cigs. I've become one of those people I used to hate that doesn't like the smell at all, although I'm not vocal about it

Dunno, but he's definitely not a tootler.

Yep, blister pack coils will be unavailable in the future, at least in the US, without something significant changing in the FDA regs. It will probably still be possible to get them from China, but at the risk of having them seized by customs. Of course some of the currently used factory coils may simply stop being made anyway, regardless of regulations, due to newer tanks with different style coils.

So I do think it makes sense to steer even new vapers towards things that are rebuildable. That might mean tanks like KD's beloved egg roll with the CLR coils, or it might mean RDAs or RDTAs, but I think everyone should be prepared for the possibility of not being to easily obtain factory coils.
It's already happening with mine. They no longer make the 1.8 coils. Grrrrrr

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'll quite happily sit next to a smoker no issues at all. But then it never has bothered me. I could even be eating next to somebody smoking & not be bothered.

Thats why i recommended the Kayfun.

Kayfun lite plus V2 can be as tight as a cigarette to restrictive Lung hit. Tge base is only $4 at FT, and a plethora of bell caps or tanks to put over it. 2.5-5 mls. One ECF member extended tge chimney with 5 mm tube from hobby shop and put a rounded bell cap on top M Tank and held 9-10 mls.

If you need a full bore Lung hit get the Kayfun Monster Mini V3 base $4.12 and blow Clouds with va Kayfun.

It's time for you to come on over to the dark side then.. :lol:
:evil:Perhaps you are correct my dear.
Maybe @ChelsB can show you how to re-built them??? Sorry, just couldn't resist.
Deb and Kad have been trying to get me to for quite some time now and I just keep putting it off. I even have a little kit. Guess I have ptsd from college. Had to create an l.e.d. aztec clock off a 555 timer back in the early 80's and had to wire wind all these posts. OMG. NOT FUN.

Thanks. At least I was able to cancel quite a bit of spending through FT ! The rest is stuff I already know I like. Another Hana modz and egg roll and don't forget, I'm still stocking up on nic!

Play with the egg toll for a while and see how you like it. It's very easy to coil - I just did it - and according to a few folks who have one those coils last a long time. That means you just need to rewick more often. Give it some time…if you like it you can buy a few more to stock.

This what I did when I started stocking up last summer. I read all the ECF posts about the sepecific posts I was considering, read the reviews, checked the close up photos of their construction, and if I still had a question I posted it.

After all this I stayed with the three I liked the best and only just now added a fourth - the ego one - because it didnt exist last summer. Now my stash is set and if something else comes along I only consider it if it's 1. a good value, 2. Easier to coil, wick or fill and 3. If it's the right size.

Doesn't bother me either. In fact, I like taking a puff off one every now and then.

But regulated mods, or those with electronics like the Picos, Hana Modz, Provaris etc have electronic boards in them that make them work, right? So what happens when those boards fail? Especially if buying all these types of mods for a stash. That's more of my concern than tanks. I have good tanks. Rebuildable tanks but they aren't going to do me a bit of good say a year from now if I don't have a mod that will fire them.
Like @Katdarling tha's why I bought provaris. They have been lasting people 5+ years. I also bought two picos which i doubt will last as long but between the Ps and the picos I am set for the rest of my years even if the Ps dont last 5 years each.

Are there any other mods now in the market that have the solid reputation of the Ps? Thats what I would be buying if I didnt have them.

Not even been tempted here.
What are some good tanks for tootle puffing? I have the nautilus and eleaf? Any others that are good ones?

Edit: non rebuildables.
My other half has got a Joyetech Cubis with 1.5Ω atty sitting on top of an ELeaf iJust 2 Mini. That combination is very close to an eRoll, which was my tootliest cig sized vape ever
