In the Kayfun Mini V3 abd Kayfun V5.
They put a _____ wall around tge build deck to keep tge cotton from being caught by the threads (i guess). Thus stupid wall makes it a guessing game of how long to cut the tails of the wick. Then you have to push the tails between this stupid wall and the build deck snd position the tails over the juice wells you can't see for tge cotton is in your way.
If the tails are too short or tge tails are not positioned correctly the darn Atty floods.
BIG step bsckward from the old tech of svoemesto. With old school i can cut tge length of tge tails very easily. It works the first time every time.
Bea - pretty much what 2 Bears said. The damm wall doesn't allow any visibility whatsoever, and so, I can't tell if my wicking is in the correct place. They're just a PITA for me. But, as I've said, I really like the tank!
2 Bears - I discovered a never-used KF 3.1 in my cabinet!!! It was a gift that I actually had forgotten about. Xmas come early. I'll have to give that baby a whirl one of these daze.

You're too cute, SweetieFalaya.
Whereas the old KFs, i.e. 3.1, and the whole 2 series, don't have it and are the proverbial "piece of cake."![]()
CAKE????????????????????????????? Bring it, dude!!!
Aah, good to know, I've never ordered a "styled" item from them

Mr. Flakes to the punch did beat me. I like the idea of reading the reviews and discussions on FT. They may or may not change your mind, but you'll be armed with a bit more information to make your decisions.
You don't need to. Just get to a happy place with the tanks you've already got. You've had trouble with your KF 5 before, no? Then buying another KF-like atty seems... well... a bit masochistic. Learn to get along with what you've got first, and then expanding the horizon makes much more sense. Especially if the budget doesn't stretch into the great unknown
Seems to me in general, you like to go the hard way. You insist on building vertical coils, why? Ask @Krisma how she modified her coils so she can build them horizontally. Give yourself a break, why don't you?
I'm sorry if I came across as judgmental. I don't mean to be. I just want to save people from purchasing a lot of stuff that might not work for them while they're not sure of what works for them. @ChelsB mentioned she spent $ 200 in one weekend on vape gear. I can't look in anybody's wallet, but that seems like a lot of money while she has a lot of gear already at home, some of which she's having some trouble with.
I used to buy all kinds of stuff and much of that never worked out for my way of vaping. Lots of money spent on stuff I'd use once or twice. Untill I learned how to make things work for me, I just kept buying things. So what I'm trying to do here is get people to make things work for them, and learn, so they will be able to find what works for them and not go all over the place buying things they'll never use.
Muru, both of your posts remind me of @tj99959 's tag line. Brilliant.
