I went in each one of the 4 vape shops 1 time....
It is an unfortunate situation for the "quitter" crowd. But realistically the 30-40ml a day "toy clouds" crowd are most likely the ones putting clothes on the backs of the shop owners kids.

Remember how fascinating "Super elastic bubble plastic" was? Whew, I can only imagine the chemicals I inhaled from that stuff!

Our vapeshops are still just emerging and the vaping scene is just taking off. I have a couple near by (well in 20kms) and they still cater for the beginner to knowledgeable beginner. You don't really get clouds of vapour because there is never more than a couple of people shopping (if that) at any one time. :p Subohm is dominant on the forums and much of that gear is all online shopping.

I am sure it will get to that point if they are allowed to remain open when regulations come into being.

No new toys (yet), but I did do up a custom logo for the Cuboid with the new firmware release.

@rhelton - is that the KF V3 Mini?

No thats a V4. I actually had the V3 Mini before I bought the V4. They are both a good vape the V3 beats out the V4 on airflow only otherwise they are equals.

The spring is a small niggle on the V4 I have had intermittent connection trouble I think. Mostly when the JFC is open all the way, at least that is what I think it is.

Give 'em heck JK!!!!!!! Quite true. I really don't even venture into my local B&M (less than 1 mile from my house) because they just don't have what I'm looking for. Truthfully, they've never been great on advice - but they had/have great juice (I just make my own now, but if I needed to buy, I would get it from them.)

I suppose I should go spend a couple hours and park there sometime, maybe build some coils while I'm sitting there. Have a handful of mods and toppers of varying capabilities. Just see if anyone bites at the "show". Yes the Klowd-fest is rampant. But, NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO FOG THE ROOM!!!!
Oh please oh please oh please...dooooo it! Please put on a show! Maybe the youngins'll learn a thang or 2.

Everyone shows the "Exploded View" of the KF4 and it makes it seem like it would be difficult, but really, you only use a few parts(Assembled that is!) lol :p:D
I feel the same way about my untouched LEMO V1. Looks like a jigsaw puzzle in comparison to a PT II Nuthin I couldn't handle if I chose to but it'll be there in my war chest if I ever need it.:D

Question for you about the V4. It maybe just the build I have in it but I am finding that I hardly need to crack the JFC open. If I go anymore than a 1/4 turn I start to get a little gurgle. Do you think ive under wicked it or is this about right?

Yah its not that bad. I did take it all the way apart for the initial scrubbing but that will not be done often.

My Provari is a 2010 V2 model and it still looks and works fine. I use it here and there in rotation with several other mods. I sometimes slip it in a jeans pocket when I'm doing yard work and other outside stuff around the house. It slips in and out of a pocket nicely and it's heavy enough to stay put and not slide out when I'm on the lawn tractor.

Yep, that's exactly when mine is from. I got it in May of 2010, a black V2. I had it upgraded to 2.5 a couple of years later. It was working well as of a few months ago but I don't have any working button top 18650s right now. I assume it will be good to go when I re-up. Now for a topper, or maybe the subtank. I've been meaning to get my REO upgraded to lowpro and with the updated contacts but one step at a time.

Edit: I still go to vape shops so I can .... in on newbie conversations when the owner is pushing hybrid mods on someone with a cigarette behind their ear.

I have never had the KFV4 gurgle on me. My main one is a flawless Infinite version and my second is an unknown version that was piffed to me, it has some rough threads on the JC. The Infinite has the S-Kit installed so no airscrew, and the unknown has been drilled out so no airscrew either.

The JC on the KFV4 is either open or closed it is not made to be adjustable. Some versions require an o-ring or two to be changed. When wicking, I make sure the Rayon tails just touch the deck covering the holes.

Check in the KFV4 Clone thread with some of the others that have had gurgle issues to see if they found a solution.

I think it maybe a oring. After reading this I notice with it closed and I draw on it with the tank tilted I can see it pull liquid down the holes. Ill check that out and the thread and see what I come up with. If I just crack the JFC open like a 1/8th turn its ok but as you said I did not think that was right.

One with the Red tank looks like a Vamo with a Smok EBC Clearo, the other looks like a Sigelei Legend with a Kanger Protank(or similar)

The mod on the bottom looks like a Vamo the tank on the top one Is an Aspire BDC (or later variant), definitely not a Protank. The Aspire NON-nautilus BVC coils will work in it.

Thanks. searching around the discontinued item on fasttech wasn't working so good.

So nice of you to type out vaping info for folks. Where were you 10 months ago when I started??? :)

I don't know any other vapers either, 'ceptin folks here....nobody in the flesh though. My partner isn't the least bit interested in my vape stuff...frowns on it actually (grrrrrrr). I've tried, oh how I've tried to get a coupla friends to get off the smokes and into vaping. They seem interested but just aren't ready.
I agree, sure would be nice to hang with some real live vapin' folks. I feel so alone (*sniffle*). Poor, poor pitiful me :)
Haha! My Husband always laughs and gives me hell (jokingly) for my 2 page or as he calls them 10page vape packets! Lol He laughs about me putting "Do not drink eliquid" on my packets.....lol I tell him, ya just never know! Lol
It would be nice to build coils with other vapers, talk about all the different stuff, and create diy recipes with another person! My Husband controls my vape budget ;) lol He prefers me vaping over smoking, and checks out my vape mail when I get it :)

The SMOK EBC and Aspire ET-S...although "older" tanks...are still in my Rotation.

They produce a GREAT Tootle Puffer vape!

And...unlike my newfangled GS-Tank and Cubis...rarely flood...

..

If you could take them apart and take pics so we can see the coils would be easier to identify

I won't be able to see them for about 3 weeks. It is probably written on them what they are. I just got a picture and the statement. These are what I like .

Nice!
I have two KFV4s and really like everything about them. Lots of people complain of how complicated they are but I don't find that an issue at all.

Enjoy, it's a great vape!

I like them because of the parts. More things to fix instead of scrapping a good tank with one minor problem.

I am looking to get the mini V3. I have a few Tobeco K4's I am wondering if the airflow can be closed down on the mini. I run the airflow 3.5-4 turns out on the K4
