I'm an old woman and I will ask a question only after I have researched it and just can not find my answer. For example...last year for my birthday I received a Hana One mod with no instructions. Yes, I read instructions for EVERYTHING. So I googled Hana mods, went to the site, found my mod and downloaded the instructions for it. Google is my friend for most of the answers to my questions.
Me too! Especially since Google came on the scene. It makes is so easy to find answers. The ones I have a hard time with are esoteric acronyms.

LOVE my little Kayfun.

As far as i am concerned tge 25 mm flat top bell cap perfects the Kayfun.

I love the ability to bottom fill without using the fill port, and the ability to pull the build deck without dumping the ejuice
Nope. Can't bottomfill mine. Have to use the screw-port. With mine, the barrel is not threaded and the airtube is plastic.

Edit: It's this one: https://m.fasttech.com/products/2046006

They're great, and great value too. Easy to wick and solid performance.

Throw a spat of Teflon tape on the fill screw (bottom side of the base) if you find it seeping onto your mom's 510 connector. Easy fix - built to last.

I like them a lot.

Odd man (woman) out here.

There seems to be a sort of (unspoken) journey amongst vapers and vaperettes... that we must move from pop in coils to recoiling and rewicking our own.

I see both as viable alternatives. Not everyone can or WANTS to RB atomizers. Sometimes the simplicity of the vape is more highly valued than the dollars saved.

Other times, the joy of creating exactly what we want, manufactured by our own two little hands, is the ultimate.

But not always. I do believe there is no right or wrong answer to the activity, no do I believe that one progresses to a higher level of vape because they roll their own.

I didn't roll my own cigs, either. I gladly paid the man to hand me the perfected carton of smokes.

I prolly SHOULD learn to change the oil in my car..... but I dun wanna. I'm happy to pay someone to do that for me, even tho that is prolly an activity I could learn and could do, and save buckareenos along the way. But no, thank you so much.... no.
1000x's yes...
The storage and MESS.
I have a laptop to get rid of a desk. I have a scanner to get rid of files. I don't do costco because I don't want to store jumbo, multi pack anything.

I tried a canvas tool tote, with juice and batteries it easily became "not portable". Imagine wire and tools. Are forgetting the cost of yearly headache meds that I'm sure I'd have.

Nope. You sure can't bottom fill yours. It needs the Nano chimney.

I used to use one exactly like that. Every time i had to rebuild or rewick i had to catch the ejuice in a shot glass then gather it in a Blunt tip syringe and put it back in the tank if i didn't spot a Sillicone plug for the catch cup in time.

I was ecstatic when i found the short 25 mm TALL bellcap (not diameter,) already been down that rabbit HOLE. :)

Since you already have the base, barrel, and drip tip; all you really need is the short $1.69 bellcap to use the same Kayfun i do.

You sure are right. Kayfuns ARE BUILT to last.

When i got my $5.43 Atty from FT i was expecting it to suck and blow at the same time. I just got it as a beater Atty to carry on the bus. Almost 17 months later i'm still using the same acrylic bell cap. In tge beginning expected at most 2-3 months of use out of it.

I have had two minor issues.

One of the screws stripped the threads, and when i down graded from Monster Mini V3 to tge Lite Plus V2; the O ring on tge base was too thin and seeped ejuice at the threads. I replaced the O ring, and has worked ever since with no leaks unless i fail to tighten the bell cap correctly.

If you find a Kayfil tool somewhere, grab a few. There are other ways to fill them but the tools make it very easy.

The Kayfill works great for the full metal Kayfun body snd some of the bell caps
But some bell caps O ring just lie in a cut out divit.Press in the Kayfill and the O ring comes out with the chimney. Some of my 34 mm TALL ;-) bell caps were like that. In the case of those bellcaps; your only options was dump the Juice ot use a Sillicone plug.

Those kayfill things never took off here for some reason. Guess we Europeans like doing things the hard way :)

And it's weird but the link in Chrome took me to a different one than the link in Tapatalk did. So, irrelevant. :\
