I wasn't bashing Cloupor, just saying that even regulated mods can cause issues.

Funny how Cloupor has fallen so far off the radar, they used to be a big player back in the day. I think if they came out with a 150+ watt mod today, it would not be well received or trusted.

Gotcha, TD. Didn't think you were, just that stuff from ancient history has a tendency to hang around even when problems have been acknowledged and corrected.

Even though they (Cloupor) were quick to admit and correct, it may have had something to do with their falling out of favor.

I won a couple of cloupor mini +s here and they have been rock solid. wonderful little device. I remember the problems with the original version and also appreciated how quickly they acknowledged and corrected the problems.

I have some wonderful mechs (byleo, poldiacs) and they are a brilliant vape. my issue is that I want the exact same vape from the first puff to the last and so I use kicks. Its not for safety....... its for consistency

So, you're a mech poser. [emoji6]

I suppose. I like the look and feel of my mechs but they dont get the run they used to. I just plug and play my tanks/provaris and billet boxes. I found my happy place a while ago. I rarely tinker anymore.

The stupid ones that push the edge too hard end up with a burnt face/hands and much scorn on social media...

Do not get a false sense of safety from regulated devices, do you remember the Cloupor Mini DNA 30W, many of those caught fire.
I scan google news almost every day for ecig stories and pay special attention to the injury accidents. 18 months ago all the accidents involved mishandled mech mods. Lately almost all the stories are about loose batteries with unprotected terminals. it's vanishingly rare to find a story about a regulated mod being the cause of an injury accident. May be that will change as regulated mods get more powerful and the fan boys figure out ways to abuse them.

If it weren't for this, I might STILL be vaping on those marvelous old Go-Go's.

Issue, same.

When I was vaping cartos in tanks. The initial vape on a mech with a new battery would fry a LR carto and the last few if you made it that far was like vaping through tissue paper. My go to were (when VV finally came out) were Vision spinners.

So when kicks came out it was just the thing i needed.

Mechanical devices do have a space in my vapeagheddon stash but the best thing I ever did was learn how to make them myself. If it ever comes to it, i have all the tools and knowledge to make something useable and attractive that matches my vaping style. Including kicks for the VV/VW consistency.

I googled vaping go-go's and the images I found were not safe for ECF...:w00t:

LOL! How's about an early Grimm, back when the Britney poster was the talk of his town?

One more, then I'm done. This was a fun one too.

So...for tootle puffing, what are the top end flavor RTAs these days?

VERY subjective, but my favorites are the SXK Wine, Digiflavor Siren, and the Joytech thingie that @Katdarling calls an Egg Roll. I can't remember the exact name, but I think it means something in Latin.
