I went horizontal and made some tools to help. I was going to make a couple more for practice so I will show some pics later today.

This was the YouTube video I followed for the nautilus. I used rayon instead of cotton (don't like the taste of cotton)

And the little donuts I made in place of the rayon wadding

If you really like those GS Air 2 tanks that are used in the iStick Basic and want to use one on your Zmax you can get some 1.5ohm coils for it like these Eleaf GS Air Coils - Eleaf Coils - Eleaf - Tanks & Coils

Also, heres a bigger version of that tank GS Air 2 16.5mm - Eleaf Tanks - Eleaf - Tanks & Coils

The coils that come with it are .75ohm which is a "Sub-Ohm" coil that most tube mods wont fire because the resistance is too low, which is why I suggested the 1.5ohm coils above.

A LOT of people really love the original GS Air tanks as-well, mainly the GS Air M along with the Original Coils I linked! :D

Edit* Not saying to run out and buy it, just a reference for the future or if you were wanting too already!
Thanks. Funny, the new tank is cheaper than a pack of coils. Anyway, I just ordered some 0.75 coils for my basics, but I also have an almost new 1.2 coil that I'm hoping will work on the Zmax long enough for me to get a feel for it. I also have an iJust Start Plus kit on the way. It was $15.99 at 101 Vape where I ordered two packs of the .75 coils.

So now I can relax a bit.

Today is my 39th wedding anniversary and I have just spent the last hour or so waiting for the ambulance to come and treat my wonderful husband for a redback spider bite. Luckily he is not allergic to them so aside from some very serious pain.....he is going to be ok. Phew

Will not be dancing this weekend.
Oh wow! No fun h not good all at the same time! But Happy Anniversary!

He took a bit of a turn and we spent some quality time (4 hours) in hospital casualty while they kept an eye one him and helped with the pain and other symptoms. He will be ok now just have to manage the pain for a few days
Hope it doesn't get worse! Let us know how he's doing!

Has any of yours ever had a line across the screen like this - everytime you press a button, even when its turned off? I have a VV3 that does that.. It still works though!! :)

I have 4 in the box. One started not holding a charge and got warm in use. One hit the driveway really good hard enough to bread the metal tank on it.. Started doing strange things afterward. 2 more started having resistance jumping around and switching from watts to volts. That was from me being a clutz.

Whats everyone vaping today? Right now I'm just going simple with my Sig Mini & Cerotank V2, and VTC Mini & Cubis with the 1.5ohm Clapton Coil..

Today was my regular rotation on juice. Test driving some new VV4's during the day. Now I have XOXO and Nilla Gorilla in RGM2's testing some new SVD2's

Not done it but i suspect that you pull out the little rouvd headed pins to get the vv3 apart.

Pull the pins or grind at the top and bottom. Remove the wires on the connector at the top would be my guess. The MVP20w came apart that way. I have one that is totally done so a some point I will try.

They're rivets, so using a thin blade (careful! it may be sharp!!) to work them out should work. Wires top and bottom, I'd guess, but no idea which end is best to remove the battery itself.

Sourcing the proper battery might be the hard part....

The nautilus coil pics will need to wait. Turns out hubby is one of the few folks that needs antivenin for the bite and then also happens to be one of the few people who has a reaction to the antivenin. We are finally back home from the hospital and he appears to be over the hump.

I kid around with GT that I am not really the nurse you want in a crisis but I did manage to stay calm when it was all going to hell in a handbasket. I will get back to vaping tomorrow.

And you have to get above the minimum for free shipping! ;)
Nah, I have never bought something I wasn't planning on just to get free shipping. Well, OK, there was that one time, oh and that other time. And I almost forgot that time.
Ummm, OK, I admit it, just about every order I have ever placed get's stuff added just to get free shipping. Somehow it's so easy to justify spending an extra $20 to save a couple bucks.

Oh dear Krisma, not exactly what you had in mind for your 39th I'm sure. Good to hear your hubby is home now. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Glad he's finally headed the right direction, Krisma. And you have your priorities right! :thumb:

So I got a question that might open a can of worms i hope not but well see. What's your favorite kayfun version and why? This might have been in another thread some where I just didn't find it.

I only have two clones. Well, three, if I count the KF Mini 2.1. KF Lite and KF 3.1ES. I had the best luck with the 3.1. I've fought and fought and fought to get the wicking right to avoid dry hits, and I'm coming to the conclusion that my higher-VG is to blame. I do prefer a bit more airflow, so the Lite (no adjustment) suffers. The Mini 2.1 suffered because I was trying to hit it more often. It would get quite warm and start discoloring the juices.

I've toyed with the Mini 3.1, but I've become accustomed to the larger build decks like the Velocity (I know, not quite a TP RDA), so I've been eying the Griffin. So, back on-topic, of the few I've tried, the 3.1ES was *my* favorite.

I think a lot of folks might recommend the Orchid as an alternative. I don't have one, but many out here do.

The EhPro V2 Lite Plus, with the dual air intake. A bit more flexibility on the air flow.

I like my Kayfun undead the best because of the better airflow. I also like my Kayfun V4 with the upgraded 4s pin also because of the added air flow and because of the ability to re wick & recoil without draining the tank. I also like my Russian 91% as well.

I have had the best luck with my Ehpro 3.1, behind that one is a Monster V3 if you we can count that as a Kayfun it is my favorite open draw tank.
