Puf, you are a bucket load of information that I so appreciate!

I do enjoy my PT2'S because I'm comfortable with simple. I've been using them since I began this journey almost 10 months ago and have learned how to fiddle with the wee beggars when they're acting up.
PT2'S are difficult to locate now and I'd like a couple more for my tiny stash. I wondered about the PT3's because I've been able to find them. But, the reviews haven't been great.
Are you able to suggest something similar to the PT2? I'm strictly MTL and have no experience with dual coils...not really interested.
I also have a Mini Nauti which I quite like.
Thanks a lot!
Protank 2? Try the Anyvape Davide. It was my first non-ego tank. I just parted with it a couple weeks ago in a PIF. I liked it because it could take Aspire BDC/BVC (non-nauti) coils OR Kanger PT coils. There is also an Anyvape Peakomizer that does the same, and it's better, IMO, but costs a bit more. The difference between the Peakomizer version and the Davide (besides looks, I kinda prefer the Davide) is the chimney and filling method. The Peakomizer has a spring loaded chimney and a stepped deck that will accept multiple coils and the chimney raises or lowers on the coil head. The Peakomizer also offers top fill. I'm currently running one on my Provari Mini.
Davide BDC Glassomizer $5.99 - Tank - Clearance
or
Anyvape Peakomizer Glassomizer!

+1 on the anyvape tanks. I use cerotanks and they take both aspire and Kangertech coils (dual coil Kangertech though)

Many good choices already mentioned...

Pico is an OK tank, but nothing exceptional in the flavor department, though it does work really nicely with the CLR coils. Pico-s Rcommen I'd personally stay away from, appears to have a POM chimney/chamber rather then PEI so you'll have to be a bit more careful locating the coil. Honestly not all that impressed with it. Also a bit annoying is the fact the plastic chamber can get pushed up if your mods 510 is stiff or not spring loaded leading to intermittent/jumping resistance. Leaving it a little loose on the mod helps.

For me the Pico is more of a novelty atty then a daily user.

Subtank mini in short form is pretty decent not the greatest if your MTL person though.

Clearos/Glassos I personally would not recommend due to the high possibility of the bleak future. Everyone should be thinking about ease of builds, and while it is not that hard to rebuild coil heads it is not as easy as a good rebuildable which is a bit more future-proof.

Tube is a nice atomizer I like mine, but not sure I'd suggest it for MTL.

Calix 2 looks interesting, still waiting for mine to arrive.

Gem is great atty, Troll pretty much covered it, though wide open I do not have any issue lung hitting mine.

Not short, but small 17mm/19mm the Flash VS, and Kayfun Mini V3 are my two favorite sub 22mm atomizers Buddha mini honorable mention, but lack of spare glass is a thumbs down. All are well above average in the flavor department, can offer tight draw for MTL, or open enough for restricted lung hits. KFM3 is one of the easiest to build and wick atomizers I have used. Flash VS is not difficult, but a bit more fiddly, end result is worth it though IMO.

Also if you don't mind the idea of mesh wick and a Genesis atomizer the Nextiny is a superb little tank with practically zero maintenance except for an occasional dry burn to degunk. Probably not the best for beginners though.

Quite a few choices for MTL, but some of the best are still your classics.

Thank you all so much!
I have the Theorem, it doesn't leak, and I can make anything leak! But it's way to airy for my taste! I like the sound of the Pico, but it sure seems ugly?
I tried a buddies Toptank tonight with the RBA deck, WOW! Great flavor, and you could really shut the air down on it! Kayfun lite tight! The Toptank mini might be the ticket! The Toptank as is, it's just huge on the Pico mod! Almost as tall as the mod itself!
I'd like to think I'm done with mesh, been there, didn't like the fight, don't really want to do it again!
The issues with the GEM clone are enough to turn me off, I want KF easy. It took some doing to learn how to wick, even had to educate a few shops around here when they got popular, on how to do it right. But that was flavor galore! Much like the Theorem is, but a tighter draw.
I did see the Melo RBA deck, but I think it's going to be to airy for me. Besides the fact I'll have $30 wrapped up in it, unless I buy a full kit, which I don't see happening.
I'm in no huge hurry, just kicking ideas around for now. So please, keep the ideas coming!

Well there is not a lot of tiny RTAs that are MTL capable, the GEM is MTL only and works quite well. The first problem is they are out of stock on all the majors except for the B version on Fasttech, which you don't want. 3F lists the GEM as discontinued and FT shows the non B version ships in 7 Days... A few tanks on FT we all wanted back in 2015 where stuck on the ships in 7 Days for months, so it is no guarantee it will show up again.
$19.03 GEM Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / stainless steel + glass / 21mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

This clone version is not without its share of problems though and does require a little tinkering to get it working. The 510 pin is too short and requires a bit of engineering. You can install a small airflow grub screw before you put in the 510 pin to shorten the hole depth, this gives the 510 pin something to stop up against. Or do like the people do in the product discussion pages and install a Kafun V4 510 pin instead. That option requires you to take the 510 pin out to get at the deck unless you grind the shoulder off of the pin. It also seems some people are experiencing rust in the chimney, I don't have that problem so it could be they changed manufacturers for a bit.

The Moonshot is definitely a DTL atty, I put a pair of fused Claptons in mine today and vape it at 100W on my Cuboid. I did not try it as a MTL tank since it is dual coil only.

If you can get past the possible leaking on filling of the Goblin Mini V2, it could possibly be a good MTL atty, I have never tried it that way though. The Flavor is exceptional from it and there is a learning curve to get it wicked properly, preventing leaks or dry hits. If you do get one, get an Authentic since they are really not that much more expensive than the clones.

The Theorem is small and can leak if laid on its side. The notched coil provides excellent flavor but requires around 40W to come alive, or to be run under TC. You can put a regular coil in it, but I have not tried it MTL.

There are a few tiny sub ohm tanks with coil heads you can rebuild. I don't use anything that requires a coil head so I have no experience with those tanks.

I am going to call on @ccwaters @Shawn Hoefer to see if they don't mind giving you a recommendation for a small MTL rebuildable RTA.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
:toast:

What about the Serpent Mini? I just saw that they were coming out with a Bachelor Nano too. The Serpent mini can go down to loose MTL, I'm not sure about the Bachelor.

Have you seen the site vapecrawler.com? This is pretty good for helping locate source sites for gear. You can even filter by country of origin.

It is a great tank other than the issues I posted about. Like any clone from FT, you sometimes have to do a little engineering or modifying...

No Dremel required with this one.
