Question,
I will be unable to vape for about 2 weeks due to being in the hospital then rehab, do I need to empty all my pt2's of juice or will they be okay. This is a good type of hospitalization, one that will improve my QOL!
I will have to resort to the patch during my stay, but I am cool with that.
I just want to make sure my tanks and coils will be good when I get out.
All my mods are taken care of.
BTW I use silica coils
I've had a couple of rounds of the hospital/rehab routine. I'd do fine as long as they kept me dopey, but when they started backing off on that the craving to smoke would start. The second time I had started looking into vaping & had bought a cig a like thingie which I hated & relegated to the bottom of my purse. They tasted horrible & didn't help even lessen the desire to smoke. Until the last 3 days in rehab & I was craving badly. I was digging in my purse for something & found those cig a likes. The batteries were still charged & I puffed those things right there in that room & made it till I got out, then tossed them when I got home because they were so nasty. I did some Googling, & You Tubing & 2 months later bought an ego CE4 blister pack & haven't smoked since. Those little things & some unflavored higher pg & nic juice will still go with me when I have hospital stays! And a bottle of air freshener for my nose. Because hospitals smell gross.

Many good choices already mentioned...

Pico is an OK tank, but nothing exceptional in the flavor department, though it does work really nicely with the CLR coils. Pico-s Rcommen I'd personally stay away from, appears to have a POM chimney/chamber rather then PEI so you'll have to be a bit more careful locating the coil. Honestly not all that impressed with it. Also a bit annoying is the fact the plastic chamber can get pushed up if your mods 510 is stiff or not spring loaded leading to intermittent/jumping resistance. Leaving it a little loose on the mod helps.

For me the Pico is more of a novelty atty then a daily user.

Subtank mini in short form is pretty decent not the greatest if your MTL person though.

Clearos/Glassos I personally would not recommend due to the high possibility of the bleak future. Everyone should be thinking about ease of builds, and while it is not that hard to rebuild coil heads it is not as easy as a good rebuildable which is a bit more future-proof.

Tube is a nice atomizer I like mine, but not sure I'd suggest it for MTL.

Calix 2 looks interesting, still waiting for mine to arrive.

Gem is great atty, Troll pretty much covered it, though wide open I do not have any issue lung hitting mine.

Not short, but small 17mm/19mm the Flash VS, and Kayfun Mini V3 are my two favorite sub 22mm atomizers Buddha mini honorable mention, but lack of spare glass is a thumbs down. All are well above average in the flavor department, can offer tight draw for MTL, or open enough for restricted lung hits. KFM3 is one of the easiest to build and wick atomizers I have used. Flash VS is not difficult, but a bit more fiddly, end result is worth it though IMO.

Also if you don't mind the idea of mesh wick and a Genesis atomizer the Nextiny is a superb little tank with practically zero maintenance except for an occasional dry burn to degunk. Probably not the best for beginners though.

Quite a few choices for MTL, but some of the best are still your classics.
Bought a flash VS from focal. Had an e-mail last night that it's been discontinued and will have a refund. On Fasttech, is also discontinued. Thinking of a FeV V3 or Horizon or Kronos instead. for MTL flavor chaser any suggestions between those?

My first thought was to agree with everyone on emptying but then I thought why not completely clean and load up a couple with new coils and a really fresh tank. Have it ready so that it will be a fresh lovely vape for you.

I am not sure what you will be having done but I found that any type of aesthetic or drugs took a while to clear my system. It changed my tastebuds so everything tasted a bit different. What ever happens best healing wishes coming your way.

I really dislike Gearbest, and it may be more trouble then it is worth, but they had the Hotcig VS not to long ago.

As for the three you mention, I'm going against common opinion, but the FEV 3 just never did it for me, flavor is just a bit on the weak side, not bad, but not as good as many others. I've found no matter the build or placement of coil it ends up being slightly muted.

Horizon is better on the flavor department, and can be had with a nano set up which is a plus for me, also offers some pretty decent air flow options with a decently large range, unfortunately the range is accomplished with grub screws blocking off 1 or more of the 4 ports with grub screws, extremely tight air flow being accomplished with 3 blocked, fourth with a center drilled grub. little fiddly but works well enough.

couple things I don't care for with the Horizon, both fixable, but annoying enough to make worth mention. The juice feeder holes are a bit on the small side for High VG liquids, it will work but tends to starve just enough to be noticeable unless you get wicking just right. Easy fix would be to run a drill through them, which I never did get around to.

The second issue, the top of the chamber is a plate, and held in place with an o-ring, when it gets juicy it spins easily, which end up messing up your build. Polishing/reducing the chimney just a tiny bit, or a little tighter o-ring should fix it, just never got around to it. Kayfun type deck is a really easy build, 22mm is another + to me as well.

Finally the Kronos, my favorite of the three, Nano option, fairly short overall height, especially with nano tank, easy wicking/build best flavor of the three. Top fill capable (not the best design but works) Drop deck for easy access to build. Decent airflow with good range of adjustment. 23mm could be a negative depending on preference, doesn't bother me.

Woo, a little long winded, sorry for that..

:2c:

just put them somewhere so IF they leak, it will catch the spill...
but, if you're concerned about the spillage,
I would just pour the excess eJuice out of each tank; but DON'T clean them
allow the inside to stay wet so to preserve (not dry up & rust)

good luck on your Q.O.L. procedure

Question for anyone. Ikenvape would normally send a shipment notice if I remember right. My order from last Monday I got a order confirmation but no ship notice or tracking. I kinda forgot about it until this evening when I checked the mail and had not received anything yet. No way to reach em anymore so I guess I just wait. The web page went down a day or two later so I just hope they got the order?

I saw that today as well, if it had an RBA deck I'd be more inclined. I'm still on my quest for something for my Pico, the Fasttech reviews for both GEM RTA's weren't stellar and I can't find a Toptank there. Sad Panda.

Having followed FT threads on the Gem, and even here, I'd say most individuals did not put forth an effort to learn to build the Gem correctly. Yes it is a bit fiddly, has limited deck space, needs a different 510 pin. get past that and you have a stellar little atomizer.

As for the Nautilus/Kabuki RBA V1 was a bit of a disappointment, the latest V2 looks promising.
