I had a huge giggle on reading that. I just took delivery of an Ubertoot clone as part of package deal. I knew nothing about them so my first task is to fully dismantle and clean the previous owners eliquid (not sure what it was but smells like ..........)

I have the scars to prove that the deck shield does not unscrew it has orings. Took a while and a few YouTube videos later before I wiggled it off. That will be the play for today. coiling and wicking it.

Well, the KF went belly up on me. Leaks like crazy, and damned if I can figure out why. I watched 2 YouTube videos, neither of which were in English, to make sure I had all the o rings and whatnot intact. Full rebuild, and, still leaking. If I can't think of some amazing fix by morning, back it goes.

At least I'm tootling away on my Merlin. Just recoiled it (just because) and rewicked it, and with the airflow turned less than a 1/4 open, it's tootling quite well. One out of two is OK. Tomorrow, SS arrives and TC begins.

I remember when I got my first kayfun 3.1 ES clone,the frustration getting the bottom piece (juice collector I think it's called)off.No matter how I tried that piece just didn't want to unscrew.I froze it then heated it but no way was that piece gonna unscrew.On a whim I decided to unscrew the positive pin and wouldn't you know it that collector unscrewed easy peasy....Good thing too as my next move would have been a vice and vice grips (I had already tried plyers).

Oh the joy of learning how to use yer equipment!....

I got one of these little cuties as a gift from a friend, and welp..... the thing would NOT unscrew. We tried, and tried, and tried, and I thought it was hopeless. Like you, I was ready for the vice.

(I don't think I have a vise. I'm not really even sure what a vice is, but I was ready nonetheless)

I don't personally know this DPLongo character for all i know could be responsible for numerous grisly murders , may have even cooked and dined on their remains like that Dahmer character .

None of my business as this DPLongo could also be a harmless loving everyday Joe who has decided to let himself go and waste away on forums like ECF.

I just wanted to let him know that i wish him a very happy birthday because he has been good to me over the years and like i said , i don't care how sick and twisted he might be in his own home on his own time .
