Good morning TP's ...... All caught up.

I have been a bit AWOL sorry :(
I picked up a couple of the steam tribe kabuki type clones in a flash sale and except for them have been totally uninterested in anything new in this last round of sales.

Hi Krisssssy :p

I am the same way
been getting email coupons / deal / codes etc...
but don't care all that much anymore

I have deleted most of my vendors and just fly by night, all out of curiousity

guess it is nice to be able to say I am all set up and in a good place...

I realised when I wrote my little five year spiel that I was genuinely in my happy place and there is no point other than boredom to try new things. I will still get different colours of the things I like but........ Everything else is Ho hum another whiz bang new thing that doesn't quite work for me.

I think that may be the case for many of us. While I've been building my supplies against the Dooming for at least a couple years, I did add some (and some more...  ) pre 8-8... uh, just in case! So no real need to carry on. Much. :p

Yeah, I don't NEED anything really. I'd like another Kayfun v4, I really like it now that I've finally figured it out. There are a couple of Chalice's in the classies I'd like, but too rich for my blood unfortunately. I keep eyeing the Coppervape bf mod, but don't use my Dripbox enough, and haven't touched my Vapage in years, so....
I FINALLY got the coupon I won to work so a Cuboid, batteries, Triton V2 tank, Cubis tank plus some coils for each, all on the way.
Then I won an Xtar VC2 charger the other morning, which I really do need!
So I think I've got enough crap for a little while. But I really NEED to focus on getting nic, mixing supplies, using a syringe to mix up 100ml of base sucks, and get stocked up on that front now.
How are all of you measuring your liquids out? I'm still liking the graduated cylinders, I found a set on Amazon for $15 that I'm liking.

I have been playing with the Coppervape as practice for decorating a CC classic for a friend. I was surprised at the machining quality, I am fascinated by squonkers but after more than a few tries they are not my sort of device.

These are not finished and still need some clear coating (if it ever stops raining over here)

I use graduated cylinders, and a few different size syringes for flavorings. Especially for small batches, easy to stopper the needle end (no needle!!) with a finger tip and drip in the required amount. For huge amounts, the cylinders are good for measuring into a large container before decanting into smaller bottles that can be sealed.

And I make my working base in larger amounts, a bit low on PG and high on nic, so when I add the flavors (PG based), it brings the PG/VG ratio and the nic % close enough for my purposes. Makes mixing up new flavors easy. Add the various flavors, top up to the amount to mix, done.

Very nice! If it didn't cost more for shipping than the mod, I'd send you one to do for me!

That's the other thing. We are so set in our ways with the 4 flavours each. That I mix batches of 250-500 mls of everything bar the nicotine. Then mix the nic in for a weekly batch. They are all mints and menthols so all the steeping and flavour combining is in what I call the premix.

I never got into the whole gazillion eliquids (cost of importing to Aust) so it was DIY from the outset.

I prefer doing the flat panels where I can work with resin rather than spray finishes. Our environment is not really setup for it. I would not touch a custom classic unless I knew I could do it justice.

We just like being helpful and insuring people make informed decisions. We wouldn't want you being wasteful with your hard earned money, would we?

So you are doing a public service.
I haven't bought but one mod since April, I have been prepping since day one (thanks to the ECF!)
But I still find myself clicking the links that are posted.
On top of that temptation, I have a prepaid cc that my wife leaves on the desk just calling my name!

I got into DIY late in the game. Mixing by Weight was the new thing, so I ordered a $30 set of digital scales and the associated supplies I needed to start. I do 6 50ml bottles when I DIY and all it takes is for me to add the right weight of 100mg nic to each bottle and then close the big nic bottle down (done with that part).

After that, I add flavors directly from the flavor bottles, then my PG and VG which is in clear catsup type dispensers and I'm done. There virtually nothing to wash. I shake the bottles and set them out to steep.

I've never done the quantity measuring style of DIY, but weight is way too neat and easy.

Here is a real gem at a great price. It is only a Dna30 but I am getting one to retrofit a Dna60 into. These mods were super expensive a few years ago back in the day when it was almost impossible to get ahold of any Dna device. There are cheaper devices out there with more modern regulators in them but I think even the Dna30 is a viable option today.

Carbon Method Radix V1 mod
