Plugged into USB port, overnight, in bed, under my pillow, next to my phone that's also charging.

batteries swell before they vent so there is a good chance the gasses will not make it to the holes...

I don't think anyone can be too paranoid when it comes to Li-ion batteries, regulated mods give people a serious false sense of security.

It would be interesting to find out how many people here charge their batteries unattended or even overnight.

You know I thought nothing of charging them overnight and/or unattended before I joined ECF. Now I know better and dont do either anymore.

I just dont understand taking a chance once you know the danger. No, it's not likely to happen but why not do the safest thing in case your battery happens to be the one that vents.

Charging Li-On batteries have burst into flames. Another reason i use a dedicated charger instead if charging in the mod.

I was really liking my Vika Fantasy clone but the centre pin, which had a habit of dropping out, has disappeared into thin air - can't find it anywhere this time

Funny you mention this (actually not funny).I was cleaning up my kayfun lite clones that I bought the other day,while drying the one up I noticed a wire capture screw was missing on the one,AHHHHH...I looked on the styrofoam plate I was working over and it wasn't there,I assumed the floor gods got it and I would never get it back.I got on my hands and knees with a flashlight and started looking all over under the table,I caught a glint of shiny and there it was, right in front of my chair...WHOO HOO!!!

Hopefully your center pin will turn up!!!

Funny you mention this (actually not funny).I was cleaning up my kayfun lite clones that I bought the other day,while drying the one up I noticed a wire capture screw was missing on the one,AHHHHH...I looked on the styrofoam plate I was working over and it wasn't there,I assumed the floor gods got it and I would never get it back.I got on my hands and knees with a flashlight and started looking all over under the table,I caught a glint of shiny and there it was, right in front of my chair...WHOO HOO!!!

You use them more?? It also depends on the tank you're using, how many ohms, how many watts....
