I agree on both. The first time I had to take a cap off it took some effort but after that first time that same cap comes off easy. As far as installing coils I'd rather install a GS Air…no screws. I have a hard time winding those wires around the screws and tightening them down without them popping out.

I keep recoiling the GS Airs after I use the stock coils to put away in my stash for the day in the future when my fingers and my eyes are too old to do it. If securing a coil around the screws is hard now it may not be possible then.
I hadn't used my GS Air for a while but I dug it out a couple of days ago - rather than chucking out old coils (as I used to do) I'll now save them and maybe (just maybe ;)) I'll have a go at rebuilding one sometime

It's really not that hard to do. It's even easier if you order pre made coils from FT then all you have to do is just install them, wick them, wrap the coil head with some gauze and pop the cap back on.

Now you know why i wish Kayfuns had Post holes.

With 1 1/2 hands trapping leads under screw heads is a real PITA.

Short of slipping into a coma, I don't think I could get any lazier today...

Bored, too...

I should go build an atty...

What do y'all do in your spare time?

@Bea-FL your comment about birding reminded me of a project I worked on a couple years ago... digital paintings... I'm not a birder, but my in-laws are...

Very nice work there Shawn!

In my spare time during the warmer months one can usually find me in the yard/veggie garden.
In the colder months I'm in the house mucking about with whatever needs doing.

Retired life ain't too bad!
When I used to work I was a supervisor of the Offset depatment in a largeish print shop.
I taught art to kiddos on the side for a lttle bit as well.

@ChelsB , since you already ordered the eGo One tank I would recommend the Pico-s from FT. It uses the same CLR coils and it is areally nice, flavor tank.
Gotta buy the mostest expensive one it don't have the CLR adapter bits...

Hemostats. Position the coil, tuck the lead unfer the screw, clamp a hemostat on the end of the wire to keep it in place. Tighten.

@Two_Bears when I was looking for Cheesako's blog for the link above I came across one of yours. You said in it that the KL+ V2 base is the best one made. I have the original plain KL+ base. What's the dif between them?

You may not need it, but you'll want it.

I suspected it was just to see if I'd buy it. I already spent $200 on vape gear over the weekend so I'm not spending anymore until next payday. Unless, of course, there's another $20 pro vari!

Is this something I actually need?

Bwajahahaaaahahhhaaaahahahaha...

...actually need...

*snort*

Ah... pardon me...

No. With the gear you currently have, this is not needed. In a small way, it's actually redundant.

Lol! Looking forward to it! I didn't answer Shawns question about what I do in my spare time because I didn't want to bore you to tears!

So does one actually squeeze the device whilst squonking? (Not that I'm getting one....yet)

Sent from my iPhone, please excuse any typos
The squonk just feeds the wick with juice.

Then you vape as normal.

It's dripping from the bottom, one handed.
