MAIL TRUCK!!!
I don't think so - I actually go a bit long. I've tried it a number of ways, but the results are often the same.
Then it will run perfectly for the 3-4 day life of the wick, sometimes after having the issue.
I think it's possessed.![]()
I'm coming in the middle or on the end
I often have one side lift from the Juice channel as i PULL the DECK (deck the halls) out of my Kayfun.
I have 0 problem vaping. Heck i can chsine vape 70% VG Juice.
I think i am not pulling the deck straight up and the wick is catching the threads on the inside of the barrel
Sure i will get in trouble some how.
Ah, perhaps...
After trimming the wick I put the chamber on, then do any rearranging with a toothpick. I then drip some unflavored (at my preferred nic and %) on the coil and wick (since, when I rebuild I'm not always sure what flavor will be next in that tank. If I've made that decision I use that mix), put on the chimney and put one drop of juice on the end of it, to lube the o-ring, then finish assembly. Can't say I've ever run into your problem.
And likely wrong, but you aren't taking the whole chamber off to do the repairs, are you? Just the chimney piece should be sufficient. Yeah, pulling the whole chamber will automatically rearrange the whole thing!
OH, I see, you pull the coil out to rewick!![]()
OH, I see, you pull the coil out to rewick!
(Try the toothpick, grasshopper)
Which ever way that works for you is the right way.Do you mean that's not the way I am supposed to do it.
Krisma...I'm sure (like most people) that you have 28 hours of things to do when you wake up each morning...
But...should you remember...I'd be quite interested in your thoughts on the Tarot Nano (when they arrive)...
Thanx...

OK, so far, being this is my first KFL-ish thing, I'm just fiddling with the pieces... holy tiny screws, Batman! You can really catch a 28ga wire under these things?Congrats. Hope you are very happy with purchase.
I trap 26 gauge wire under tge screws of the KFL+ v2.OK, so far, being this is my first KFL-ish thing, I'm just fiddling with the pieces... holy tiny screws, Batman! You can really catch a 28ga wire under these things?
After trying on 2 different complete assemblies, I am definitely experiencing thread binding on the outer bellcap threads when I try to screw it down. With the chimney barrel screwed snugly into the bell cap, then screwing assembly onto base, the bottom of the chimney barrel starts threading to the base first and then as soon as the bell cap threads meet the base, it stops. If I screw the chimney barrel onto the base first (not desirable) and then screw on the bellcap, it goes together reasonably smoothly. I suppose I could just force it, being that even if the outer bellcap threads were to strip out, the chimney barrel would still be holding everything together tightly.
Thoughts?

Did you get the flat top bell cap i put in my "short Kayfun parts list" or did you get a bell cap that looked like the bell cap.
Some of those similar Bell caps look identical but there is sonething ocf snd don't work right.
I used to sell s lot of Kayfun attys (lite plus, lite plus V2, and Kayfun Monster Mini) and some of the bell caps had issues.
PM me.
The base may be the culpritGot the bell caps you use. Only thing I got different was black bases.

Oh, sure, because you know it's all about the base...The base may be the culprit
I don't like to do this but @oplholik told me that when he was putting bis Compact Kayfun together he had several issues and I had several issues with the bell caps with the clear barrels.
Sounds like the threads are OK when you put it together w chimney first and then slam cap... Might try that for your first build and bottom fill thru screw until you get more comfortable w the pieces.OK, so far, being this is my first KFL-ish thing, I'm just fiddling with the pieces... holy tiny screws, Batman! I have a very good reason to expect tgee base is tge culprit.Oh, sure, because you know it's all about the base...
Wait... there could be a song there...
