Gotcha, TD. Didn't think you were, just that stuff from ancient history has a tendency to hang around even when problems have been acknowledged and corrected.

Even though they (Cloupor) were quick to admit and correct, it may have had something to do with their falling out of favor.

My DARK ORANGE Cloupor Mini (also the sole winning item from ECF ever) is still in my favor. It's a weighty little thing, but performs quite well.

LOVED those GoGo's!!!!

Here's one for the memories.

Oh Jan..... come back to us, Jan!!

So...for tootle puffing, what are the top end flavor RTAs these days?

Newer stuff (2 years or less):
  • By-Ka V6
  • Tilemahos V2
  • Phenomenon Lite
  • EVL Reaper
  • SXK Doggystyle
Tried and true (over 2 years)
  • Erlkonigin
  • Squape R(s)
  • Spheroid V3
  • KFL+
  • Hurricane
  • Ubertoot

Great lists, TT.

I know DPL listed most of my faves, but somehow no one has mentioned my heart throb, the Toyota.

Kind of a toss-up, Cosmic. If you really like the KF5 (with reducer), maybe just get some more of those.

But a KF2+ will, imo, provide an equivalent vape, has fewer parts, is VERY forgiving regarding coils and wick. And, as mentioned, lots of spare parts and "customize" parts to play with - and keep it going for many years.

And SO easy to wick! :thumb:

I was trying to find the list of parts for the franken kayfun you posted. can you tell me the post number please
The easiest way to get the parts list.

Click on my name on any message i posted.

That WILL pull up a list showing tge number of messages i posted, the likes i have received, etc. Around tge middle of that screen you will see a link to my blog.

Go to my blog and scroll down to the third blog entry for tge Links for my my short Kayfun.

The first entry you will see is my doggy style clone.

Second entry is for a complete short Kayfun. I bought three of these but has not arrived yet. They were classified "restocking" i have NO idea if they are any good or not.

The third entry has tge Links so you can get the same peices i have been using for 17 months.

Holy crap, that is incredibly boring looking!

J/k, it's all in the eye of the beholder, I think it looks cool.

Mechanical devices do have a space in my vapeagheddon stash but the best thing I ever did was learn how to make them myself. If it ever comes to it, i have all the tools and knowledge to make something useable and attractive that matches my vaping style. Including kicks for the VV/VW consistency.

Everything you make IS a work of art! :)

Question for you old school Kayfun lovers out there? I have the KF5 with the reducer kit ( one of my faves), & KF3 mini. Got into Kayfuns last year, late in the game... The question is, is it worth it to buy an original Kayfun lite plus? Or should I buy one of the newer tanks out today ( Siren or other)...thought the Lite plus might be fun cuz I have seen many after market parts to play with....and it's a classic. Any feedback? Is the flavor worth the $$$?

I do like my KFL+'s very much (mine are clones)
I like them so much I bought 4 of them and then 3 of the 3.1ES's

I don't care what they look like.

I care if my Atty leaks
I care about the flavor performance

I use an ugly little $7 Kayfun clone.

I use it because

It doesnt leak
It has good flavor.
Small size (pocket friendly)
Plenty spare parts to keep it going.
Durable. Rocking the Kayfun in my avatar for 17 months and going.

All i had to do is replace the base O ring, and one screw to trap the leads

Thank you...it's 'elegant'

Yes, you most certainly can.....it couldn't cut water, but it will look exactly the same at a fraction of the price.
Link please?

It may be easier to build than trapping leads under screw heads. Mg messed up left hand is causing me problems.

Really, I had no idea lol

I like performance and aesthetics and both are usually subjective, looks for sure but even performance can often come down to build, wicking, mod setting, ad nauseum.

Not a problem.

Now all of FT BARREL (GRAFFIX TUBES) are sold out so you have to get tge barrel with Nano chimney. When you get the pieces remove the pointed hat and screw the barrel tightly into the bell cap. And the base into the barrel and bell cap.

As far as i am concerned that little $1.69 bell cap PEEFECTS the Kayfun.

I don't give a ______. It keeps me from finding a smoke shop snd getting hooked again.

The appearance of the Atty and mod is the LAST thing i care about. COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT.
