What gauge wire? When I'm having issues, I wrap the wire around the screw before tightening. Obviously, this is not ideal for larger gauge wire. Also, new screws might be the ticket... over time the screws get worn on the bottom...

I use 26 gauge Kanthal.

If you are looking for inexpensive, the Digi Flavor Siren has gotten very good reviews, or if you want a clone kayfun, the SMJY kayfun 5 $25 at 3fvape. It's a 1:1(the authentic SM reducer kit fits it $10 at Origin Vapes). The KF 5 is really easy to build on for an RTA.
I will pass on the Kayfun 5. Had a. Authentic Kayfun Mini V3 and HATED it for several reasons.

Will look at the Siren.

I have the mini 3 as well, but I do prefer my KF 5 with the kit. Phil Busardo does a full review on the Siren FYI.

I'm needing a little help.

Its getting harder and harder to trap the leads under screw heads.

I installed a new coil on my Kompact Kayfun yesterday. It took 17 attempts to trap the first lead. After i have one lead trapped tge second one is a piece of cake because one is anchored.

So i need a new Atty. Don't say Serpent Mini. I had three of them abd couldn't build it because of my _______ed up left hand.

So here is what i need.

Single coil
Good flavor at least as good as Kayfun
No leaking
Nothing bigger than 23 mm diameter (,i use a Pico)
MTL vape
Spare parts availabiliy.

Kayfun would be perfect if it had one darn Post hole!

I know Someone suggested filing a groove buf all my tools are packed for my move and don't want to unpack and repack 15 boxes to find a tool i will use for 20 seconds.
I replace the screws that come w the clone bases as they usually always suck.. I replace w big head, flat bottom. Ive got dozens of them off ft and will post link when can.

I use 28 gauge on my KFs though

I still have to get the leads under screw heads and hope tge lead doesnt pop out while tightening the screws.

On my left hand only the thumb and forefinger works.

For that i got something called a Drok USB tester ($10 from Amazon) which records the total mAh used to recharge a battery. That should also give some idea of the health of the battery when it's not charging up to the original rated capacity as new. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J3JSEG6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hey @sofarsogood ...when I started vaping (about 3 years ago)...I "loaded up" on VV V3's...

I've rotated them in my daily "rotation"..

Now...although they are all still able to take a "full charge"...a couple of their batteries (not unexpectedly) seem to be getting weaker (eg. fewer "puffs/charge")...

If I attached one of my VV V3's to the Drok USB tester...would it give me a reading that would indicate the "health" of its battery???

I find the tilemahos v2 to have a fantastic deck for building... Place to insert tool to hold coil in place, big screws to work with and vapes a dream, can tighten down air flow to nice mtl.

Here is link on ft:

I use a KFL+ V2 SO I prefer a tight draw.
Well, I prefer a very tight draw as well and the Siren on it's lowest setting is still a little loose so I leave only about 1/2 of the hole open. My next step is to fill the air hole with epoxy and re-drill it to the size I want.

The only thing I can think of is maybe a set of hemostats leave the tail long run the wire under screw then let the weight of the hemos hold everything in place

I don't have one but it is in my cart as a toy. I keep on eye on the puff counter once in a while unless one does something funny. I notice a slow decline in the amount of puff per charge until it falls of a cliff. Then they get retired.

My problem with rta (in addition to collecting/storing itty bitty bits) is PLASTIC. I vape tank killers. Even resin drip tips are eaten in a week and metal is a no-go.

Sent from my LGLS992 using Tapatalk
That problem would be eliminated if you used glass tanks with hybrid drip tips.
