If anyone was hesitant about the kayfun 3.1 for $1.97 the five that I ordered came in today and there's a threaded top cap adapter in the box to convert it to the standard slide in drip tip with the o-ring. The top cap has the threaded drip tip adapter installed. The adapter replaces the center piece in the top cap. It comes with the small clear section installed and the SS ring in the box in case you want it to be all steel with no window.

It was a great deal for FDA stockup. I now own 20 Kayfuns for the future in case hardware becomes restricted! The total invoice for the 5 KF 3.1's and shipping from Arizona to Georgia was $12.84, including the $2.99 shipping. All 5 came in the original boxes with the standard parts, a keychain screwdriver, and a section of Silica wick (that we usually toss). The SS center section in the box has the o-rings installed.

It's pretty much what you expect in a Kayfun 3.1 box. The box has the logo "Cigreen" on the outside and the atomizer has a Svoemesto logo machined into the lower section with brownish ink/stain rubbed into the logo relief to make it stand out. Cigreen has been around for a long time and you can find many reputable online dealers that hold Cigreen in high regard.

Did you try one out yet? How is the quality? It's 2$, but it looks like it was originally was 37$, what I'm asking is was it worth the original 37$ price?
Gonna probably get it anyways.

The fit and finish is really impressive. I ordered polished steel and it has a nice looking finish. I removed the top cap and the deck/chimney and all looks good. I've used Tobecco and EHPro mostly in the Kayfun line and it looks as good as any I've bought. I sniffed it for machine oil residue and couldn't detect anything.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this deal if you like the Kayfun 3.1. Heck, the Keychain screwdriver is worth the $1.97 price. I've opened and inspected all 5 boxes and they are all identical and the accessories are the same.

Dripping and driving just got a whole lot easier! no more dropped top caps and/or drip tips.

@pufZeppelin in Cheechako's blog on recoiling the GS Air coil he mentioned that you were using the mesh as a liner for another type of coil and he tried it and liked the result. I'm still using the original liners but one of these days they'll fall apart so I'm thinking of using the mesh or the gauze Cheech also mentioned.

@Krisma you posted that you use mesh on your nautilus coils and so have other people on ECF. Cheech used 325 but it doesn't say what %PG/VG he used. I vape a 50/50 mix. Could either of you advise me what is the best mesh size for me?

I use high pg so 400 mesh if you use thicker or higher VG then try dropping that to 300 or 250. It acts as your eliquid flow control so might need tweaking to customize

Have you tried aligning the coil with the juice holes and wicking it through the whole head?

ETA: disregard... forgot the Nautilus coils had 4 holes.

I would try 300 but you will probably need 200 50/50 is still reasonably thick.

All my coils are the old ones with the tiny holes (the new ones have big holes) so I have no need. This works extremely well for my style

the wrap of either cotton or mesh anchors the core to the case. You need that extra thickness somehow. Pull one apart and you will see what I mean

Just got done making 5 flavors (360ml ea) (limited by vg on hand stupid brain not ordering more when ordering flavorings) I am right now vaping a single flavor + EM and LOVING IT i swear it is the longest lasting best after taste ive had in quite some time.. Red White & Blue from FW!! Tasty! it has a subtle taste but good going in but after taste you sit there and still taste it for over a minute and it is yummy :p
