Sweetie, dont ever apologize for being thankful. It's nice!

Kat you don't have anything for which to apologize. Perhaps I should explain my position a tiny bit more.

When I read a published article in a book or newspaper I expect it to be well written and with correct grammar and spelling. In an informal setting such as a forum or a chatroom it's not as important. In these places we write fast, sometimes we get autocorrected and sometimes we post in a hurry and don't pay attention to the way we write because it's not the important part of the post. I have done it dozens of times. And sometimes we do it on purpose for fun.

If I offended anyone with my previous comment please forgive me. I should have explained myself better.

That's where I'm messing up then:blush:. The reason it takes me 30 minutes to type (2 finger no less) a 2 minute response is that I go back and correct my misspellings, check for grammatical errors and sometimes going to an online thesaurus, and then checking for obvious sentence flow irregularities. I'm doing it all wrong I guess, but it's habit for me, after so many years doing it this way. Seriously, I have been doing it that way without even thinking about it. :?:

Please...

Let us not begin to apologize for being literate and well spoken.

We're already headed into the realm of Idiocracy.

In 3 more generations, education for the non-wealthy will be reduced to the level required for a drooling primate to push buttons with pictures when they light to keep the automation going.

Hey! You just renamed our government. We left the representative republic, flew right past democracy and landed in idiocracy [emoji23]

I'm not sure we're not already there.

Just bought a pole saw/chain saw the other day. Worx (brand).

So it's electric, obviously. That's what Worx does.

Now I'm no chain saw expert. Quite apprehensive, actually. But I've done plenty of construction in the past. So this little thing, no sweat.

But I won't be felling the willow up against the house as a learning experience.

So I check out the reviews for any pointers and what to look out for.

Anything below 3 stars seems to mention how confusing the directions are.

There's 1 collar that assembles the pole.

There's 1 electrical connection where you plug the saw into the pole.

There's 1 clamp that holds the saw.

There's 1 screw cap that holds the chain oil.

The oil fill reservoir is translucent with a fill line.

It was so easy, I had the wife read the directions when I was done... twice.

These days anything that could be difficult has color coded connectors of different shapes and sizes.

Tab A no longer fits into slot B.

You almost can't screw up.

I say almost because despite my disbelief, some people, somehow, still manage. o_O

Yeah, I had someone that wanted me to come over a few years ago (before USB mice and keyboards were the norm) because they had gotten a new computer, and didn't know which color coded hole to plug the keyboard and mouse into. Ummm, the one that matches the color of the plug? Nope, they still couldn't figure it out.
