it's a mech mod with out a standard 510 connection. the atomizer connects directly to the battery.
Read up before using... 510 on atty must protrude enough to make contact w battery or goes real bad
we could also be real snooty and define hybrid as a true hybrid, where the atomizer threads onto the body of the mod.
and a "faux hybrid" as a 510 connection without a center pin.
so much terminology in vaping. lol
Wow, I'm slow on the uptake here as I'm still not fully grasping this. (Insert snooty laugh here) Don't all atomizers thread onto the body of the mod. Do you have a pic?

Would you say that most DIY'ers drip? And I'm curious, are dripper users in the minority of vapers?

The first pic is a true hybrid... no 510 threading at all. The stomizer seats right against the battery...
The second pic is of a hybrid top cap... it's 510 threaded, but without a positive pin... instead the positive pin on the atomizer makes direct contact with the battery.
The third pic illustrates the the atty relationship with hybrid top cap mods and why the center pin is so very important...

ambidextrous. only thing I can't do left handed is throw a baseball. or football. or a paper airplane I suppose. or throw anything really. lol. I broke my right elbow when I was 5, full arm cast for 6 months due to complications, so I had to learn to do everything left handed.
The other day I noticed a pic of your hand that was taken with your left hand. And then today with the right [emoji4]

I don't know if this will help you, but even if it doesn't - the dude is friggin' brilliant and it might help you with something else.
I've hustled a few games of pool, telling them that I'd play "left handed". lol.
