try pulling out the pin of the STM a little bit. used to happen to me all the time. the 510 connector on my coil builder thingy would push the 510 up into the insulator.

that's why I just build on my mods now.
Beat me to the punch! I don't build on my mods, but usually the reason we have this problem is because the 510 pins don't make contact.

You mean this part? Sorry but I don't see how to do that. With pliers or something thin?

If you can take the tank apart, push it outwards from the inner side. Be careful, don't push too hard.

That didn't work either. How strange. Usually when there's a problem the ohm reader doesn't register it so that's why I'm so confused

sounds like the ohm reader is making contact with your 510 pin on the ARM, but your mods aren't.

I'm hunting down my STM now...i forget what it looks like and I don't want to give you bad advice. lol

Do you mean through this way (with it off the device it's only on there because I don't have 3 hands)

But on 3 separate devices? It has to be a problem with the tank bottom and not the device, right?

Jumping into the mix, i'd thread the tank on the mod only a turn or two, enough to keep it steady and then push like petro is showing. This way the little piece will not fly off.

definitely the tank. (at least in my unprofessional opinion)

Your opinion carries a heck of a lot more weight than mine. I've only been rebuilding for 4 months so I still have lots to learn!

If anyone feels like laughing, yesterday I made a super rookie mistake of pinching my coil with metal tweezers while firing. Coil broke of course. Duh!

Not nearly as bad or painful as "Kissing the Dragon"
