Ahhhhhhhhhhh! I want one of these so badly! How's the hand feel of it? Good button action?

You have all of us here in TP-Land ;) I don't really have any vaping friends and few friends beyond my GIGANTIC (Irish Catholic), extremely close knit family. One guy at work vapes but his shift ends as mine begins, we've only spoken about it briefly in passing. My husband and sister are still duel using greenhorn vapers under my guidance, they vape because I help them. Left to their own devices they would both just continue to smoke.

Which model?

Sounds like a rocking night at my house too. Luckily my husband is my best friend.

Bull City has been taking quite a bit of my dollars lately...

Let us know how you like it, I'm very interested in finding one of those myself.

Its such a pretty looking device. Its a bit big with 2x18650's Did I mention pretty :p

It is a bit heavy - you know you're holding something! Button fires fine. I don't notice (but I haven't sought out) any button "clicky". I have to read the manual to figure out all the settings. Yes 2x18650, but great for a 18W setting (I know that's pushing the TP envelope ;) )

I am so glad that I react to brass and copper! I saw the SS but it just doesn't do that mod justice! Congrats

I think it's actually a Zinc alloy with a copper tone. It also appears to have a clear-coat on it.
DOOOOOOOOOOO EEEEEEEEEEEEET :D :D :D

Hey folks. A while ago I asked if there was a way of making spaced coils on a Coil Master. Turned out there is. Thanks to everybody who chipped in with ideas.

So I made some spaced coils. Did a few more wraps than I needed, stretched the coil out, unwound the loose wraps at the ends. I ended up with perfect looking coils with just the amount of spacing I wanted.

The problem I have now is that after I finish wrapping a coil it's really loose on the rod. That makes it hard to hold the coil in position while I try to get the legs wrapped around the screws on the deck, pulling on the legs causes the coil to get bent out of shape. Last night I threw away 3 coils before I got one installed on a Lemo.

I used to wrap coils on a drill bit and keep tension on the wire so the coil ended up being tight on the drill bit. Then the drill bit would hold the coil firmly in position while I attached the ends to the screws. Is there a way of making a coil on the Coil Master and keeping it tight on the rod. I couldn't figure out a way of keeping tension on the wire as I wrapped without the wraps getting on top of each other.

I have that problem if my spaced coil is too long. For coils for my KFL's I need to use a full contact coil so that it's not too long and doesn't get distorted when pulling on the ends to wrap around the post screws. I hope you can get what I mean here. For this reason some of my atties are just easier to work with using full contact coils. Sometimes you have to wrap those ends around the post screws and not pull so hard on the wire ends.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, my old coils wound on a drill bit were kind of ugly but they worked fine. Now I have the coil master I can wrap elegant perfect coils but I can't get them installed in a tank. Another vaping dilemma. I guess that's part of what keeps it interesting. I kind of hope I never get to where everything is just routine.

Maybe I'll try that. It's probably just a matter of practice. I was never very good at installing coils. I got in the habit of leaving coils installed once I got one right and just rewicking forever.

Good answer S&S. A buddy of mine (who doesn't smoke) threw out some of that GARBAGE of how "dangerous" vaping is in one of her FB posts. I kinda laid into her and threw back the UK Royal College of Physicians' report about vaping being SIGNIFICANTLY safer than vaping smoking.....

(Can't believe none of y'all caught that!)
I caught it, and just didn't want to point it out and embarrass you. Yeah, that's the ticket.;)
