Most important thing is that you weren't hurt....I wouldn't worry about causing any problems on a vision...not much you could have done to cause it

In no way, shape, or form a tootler, but I picked up an Ijoy Zenith and paired it with a Geek Vape Peerless rda today. The mod is all that and a box of chocolates, the rda looks good, but I ain't a fan of the deck... yet...

More later when I can brain again...

I have, Coolfire IV with a Supertank Mini on it. Thankfully it was a clean toilet and I rescued the mod. Even so, the tank has never been used since...

Thanks! Yeah, I figured something had to be wrong if it got hot enough to hurt my thumb!
Oh, I was not able to shut it off. I tried but no lights blinked indicating that it was on or off

I'm in a state of vaping bliss right now...after about 45 minutes of use I think I'm in love with nautilus 2, the airflow is perfect for how I like my draw and flavor is fantastic..not a fan of the design...but really am enjoying the performance

Yeah it performs great but ugly looking thing ain't it?!
I'm using my triton mini atm, I prefer it and it's easier to fill than the nautilus 2.
You just unscrew the where the drip tip is, rotate til the holes are open an fill up.
The nautilus 2 has an annoying filling technique so the triton wins hands down

So, if vaping is foremost about harm reduction, then the simple logic is you reduce risk the less chemicals you put in your body. This is something that should be discussed more in the community.

The thing is, you have to avoid the cigarettes if you are vaping for harm reduction, and MTL doesn't work for everyone. I find I need a mix of DL and MTL vaping. Some people need higher watts, some lower, some super tight draws, some super loose, some MTL, some DL. Should we try to limit the chemicals as much as possible> Certainly! But what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another, if it did we wouldn't have so many gear choices.

You have to look up how it is done in your county/city. Where I live the are certain places that collect things like halogen lights and lithium ion batteries. The nearest place to my home that takes those things is Home Depot.

Also, regular alkaline batteries can be a fire hazard if thrown into the trash willy nilly.

I was using an alien 220 two weeks ago, now I'm using a triton mini at 12 watts. Depends on mood with me but your right as much as it's about harm reduction we have thousands of options suited to different needs

Was it one of your wine rebuilt heads? Too low a resistance can be fatal to Spinners and such. Otherwise, yeah, as mentioned, just one of those things. Some tape over the 510 end and off to recycling.
