Hey tootlers. I bought a nautilus 2 ($15!). I love the .7 coil so far. It's probably too strong for many of you here I like a powerful mtl vape.

I won't get into any kind of review unless someone wants some views on the n2 vs kabuki with the same coils. Etc. I have a nautilus 2. Triton mini. And two kabuki tanks. So I can offer some insight but perhaps I need more time and I need my pack of coils to arrive so I can put the exact same coil and juice in three different tanks with the same power.

My gut reaction is the kabuki makes a warmer vape. The nautilus 2 is actually slightly more flavorful than the kabuki and has better air flow. The triton mini is the best tank in usage (real top fill)

Anyway. It's. A lot better than I was expecting but calling the n2 a top fill tank is very much pushing it. It may as well be bottom fill. They would have made more room for
Juice that way.

Will the Nauti 2 .7 coil work in my Nauti Mini and my 510 Kabuki?

Shouldn't be an issue in the original nautilus.

In the 510 kabuki one of the triton mini coils (the Clapton) had some connectivity issues so I modified my base with a better center pin (larger diameter and far more stable for temp control with the nickel coils) and trimmed the insulator. But that was a rare occurrence and I don't think you'll Have any issue with the .7 in the kabuki. For sure in he n1 tank it will work great.

Do you have the old style 510 kabuki or the new style adapter based kabuki ?

--/-

On a side note about the kabuki:

HoH clearly saw the issue with their 510 design and moved to correct it. Hence he p3 version having an adapter now. For anyone looking for something like the 510 kabuki now I'd have to recommend he vika fantasy instead, it costs less. It's shorter, and their support is responsive. Of course if you can get a break on a second hand kabuki in great shape then by all means save even more money.

Regarding my usage of the kabuki and n2:

The more I use the n2 tank the more I think I'm going to sell my two kabuki tanks,or at least he 510. For some people the kabuki will be better I think for looks. Air flow is set and forget. Filling is easier and the vape is about the same. For me the n2 is a little smaller and it fits with my smaller devices I want to use it on. I don't care for the n2 fill method but for $20 it's really hard to fault it much. I'd take a n2 over the clone of a vika just based on materials safety. The filling is awkward as I've now said far too often but that's really the only issue I find with it. I have three packs of .7 coils coming. Eightvaoe has them for $10 a pack with reasonable shipping if anyone is looking for the new coils.

Finally on the nEw coils. I've seen it said they are in fact using s different wick now than he old 1.8/1.6. So if you're buying new nautilus coils in 1.8 make sure you're getting the new stock. They're way better by my estimation. Much better flavor. The old coils used some weird batting around he outside and the new ones are as I understand it all Japanese organic cotton. It's the first aspire coil I've used that doesn't have the signature aspire polluted taste.

I still have to do a final showdown with he tanks when the new coils arrive in a few days it overall I'm extremely impressed at first blush with the n2 tank. It's a good successor to what I thought was a mediocre tank (the original nautilus). Definitely a big step forward after a big misstep with the nautilus x.

Someone on Reddit said they had issues vaping high mg salt juice with the new coils. Nil testing this now. They claimed they only got a day or two out of the coils. I have some 45mg in a kabuki p3 with the new 1.8 coil running st 11 watts as a tester. I'm half a tank through it so far without issue.

I'm interested to know: what is the worst tank you've ever used? Mine are the Cubis and Cubis pro. Just interested in knowing what to avoid!

I have to agree the Cubis is the worst I've ever owned. I hate it so much that I've never put a coil or a drop of juice in it! 99.99% Of what I read about it is negative. Don't even need to try it. I have no idea why but I have an RBA head for it on the way and I don't expect it will ever get used either.:?::blink:

The classics from a buddy I've bought from in the classies...hit him up for squape stuff and he's was cleaning house on the others.

The doggies from fasttech and hussar from 2fdeal (ft has now).

I'm really jealous of your by-ka. I want the nano version of that tank. If you decide you don't care for it for whatever reason hit me up. You got a lot of nice vape mail.

I have the sjmy doggy. I didn't think it was worth getting the sxk also as I tend to like mtl with a fair bit of airflow. But maybe I'll try it.

I'm trying to take a break from building a bit. But there are so few good mtl tanks with premade coils compared to building. A couple
If my adv just don't ever taste right on premade coils.

Post up your thoughts of the new haul. It's time for me to hit he classies and lost a bunch of stuff, nautilus x. Kabuki. Provape radius. Boxer 75. Etc etc etc. maybe if I get enough back I'll get a by-later. That's one of he last tabksnon my list of must try.

I've also heard great things about the nano taifun gt3. I own an authentic gt2 and I wonder if the vape is improved enough to bother. I love that tank but it's absolutely HUGE and doesn't look right on anything other than my dual mod.

I have the steamtuners matte to clear tank and it looks great on the boxer. For an at home kit.

Thanks h00ligan! I'm going to see if I can find the .7 Nauti 2 coils at eightvape and I may pick up a Nauti2 too. I think my Kabuki is the original Kabuki, but I've never had any problems at all with it. I don't have an authentic Vika Fantasy, but the FT Vika Fantasy clone is fantastic! I've had it for a few months now, and the quality is so good I stopped thinking about getting an authentic Vika, but I may try to pick up the Vika Fantasy Lite, which is an authentic, but for some reason, sells for only $30.

I've got a pile of the older Nauti Mini coils, but I am definitely interested in getting the .7 coils pretty soon.

Thanks for all of the great info and tips. I look forward to reading your review & comparison of the Kabuki vs. Nauti2.

I just don't see with the cubis how some people like it. I've tried at least 10 different coils and they all end up gurgling and spitting at me like crazy! But maybe that's how some people like to vape...

Got it now, "gurgling and spitting like crazy". I bought a Cubis Pro for my Son-in-Law to use (for ease of fill) for when he was home from deployment to help get him off of snus, anyways, I tried it before I gave it to him, just to iron out any possible weirdness that might be happening with it that might turn him off to vaping, and found that if I overfilled the tank even just a little, it would do just what you stated above. The Cubis had an almost invisible line inside the tank (I think) and if the juice was over that line it would gurgle, spit, and in the worse cases flat out flood. If I stayed below that line then I was golden, the heads worked fantastic. If you tried that many heads, and they all did the same thing, I think that you were just putting too much juice into the tank (or cup as Joyetech calls it). Hope this helps VapeLuvr.

Maybe I'll give it a try again and just fill it halfway, see what happens!
