I'm actually surprised at how surprised I was! This is par for the course with a young one. I just wish it was marker that washes off instead of crayon!

OK, just curious, @Katdarling how did you determine 31 watts for the 521 tabs? And which brand was it? Given the lack of any spec from Coilmaster on mine, I honestly assumed it was unregulated. And given the fact that mine takes longer to fire the coil as the battery drains, I further assumed that my assumption was correct. Not doubting you, just wondering where the number came from?

I was mistaken in my initial assumption that ZenKote was just a relabeled ceramic coating. A vapor deposition coating is a bit more technical than that. It actually sounds a lot like a graphene coating the way he describes it.

My original point was that ZenCoat is a marketing term used for another industrial coating that exists. In other words, you can't take some parts to an industrial coatings company that specializes in vapor deposition coatings and have them ZenCoated because that's not a real coating... it's just a name.
