Opinions are wanted: do you all use vape bands? Do they really protect the tanks from a fall? I really don't care for the way they look on a tank, but if you have any stories of a vape band saving your tank, I might reconsider

Nope...BUT I do use black plumbing washers around most of my tanks and pieces of bicycle inner tube around my mods. When my mod/tank fall over and hit the table they go thump instead of SMACK.

It probably looks ugly but I think it's saved one or 2 tanks. :)

Fuzzy, there are actually quite a few people here like you and me who still use our older mods and tanks, at low watts with our tried and true juices.

After I started vaping with Logics, I discovered provaris, isticks and GSAir tanks almost three years ago and, even though I have added a couple of newer tanks to the vapicalypse stash, I still use my provaris and Airs 24/7 with my plain menthol juice.

So stick around.

Me too

Every day they don't tamp dirt on top of me is a great day!

That said, I sure wish that the maid service would do a little better job today!
The whole "woke up in the right side of the grass" thing really bothers me as I live in an earth berm house... underground...

Not really, but still...

Snark mode, off...

Ugh, it would be a better day if my head wasn't pounding- may have indulged a little much last night. Went and hung out with my ex-husband and his wife last night, which seems kind of funny but I'm so thankful we are all friends. We have a 10yo together and then each pair of us has 2 more kiddos each so all the kids like to hang out and we went swimming. Was able to do some vape advocacy since they had questions. My ex was shocked to learn that there was diacetyl already in his cigarettes ;)

I'm in the same boat. I crushed a couple tanks by squeezing too hard when I removed them. Oh wait I lied. I did break a gem tank when the wae tipped over but that doesn't count because authentic gem glass is about as fragile as glass can be made.

Good (late) morning everyone.

@RainSong make sure you're getting plenty of water! (And some Advil)

Did you guys see the recent pain reliever chart showing Advil worked better for basically everything?

I was the "victim" of instant karma today. I was rushing to the post office trying to get in line before this other lady and I dropped my phone. It's obviously still usable but the whole bottom right screen is a web of cracks :( I guess I deserved it but I'm extremely disappointed

I've never broken a glass tank, and though I ordered some bands, I kind of hate them and don't use them (maybe if they were more elegant?). I'm not a dropper, though. The one time I knocked over a mod+tank onto the floor, it happened to be with a Nautilus Mini with a stainless steel sleeve, so no problem (... except the magnetic cover for the batteries on the mod fell off, the battery flew out, and the casing was torn in the process).

HOWEVER, a lot of the Kayfun Mini 3 clones I have came with a stainless steel tank (as well as glass) and I do use several of those in that SS configuration. Still haven't dropped/knocked over any of them yet, but I kind of like the feeling of invulnerability. Sort of like being a superhero. of vaping! okay!
