Ouch you may have just jinxed yourself. ; )
It's bound to happen, I am very clumsy :p in fact my friend dropped my Ijust starts an smashed the glass on the tanks, I suppose that still counts cos although I didn't drop them someone else did grr. Good job I don't use them!

Hello DP :) so are these egg rolls really all the hype they are cracked up to be? I usually like more available builds if I get a rta/tank...
I'm not DP, but...

With traditional RTA, the build might be more available or accessible, but replacing on thr fly is problematic at best. The CLR heads allow for building, and carrying a built spare, and at not much more cost than a stock coil head. That alone is worth the price of admission... Add in that they perform very nicely, and it's a win!

The CLR heads are easy to build on too, that's another reason I was thinking of getting this tank. I've heard all I need to hear, & I am gonna go ahead an order this tank along with the rba kit...

It's always tough to say, Skold. We all have different values & preferences, so experimentation is essential.

For me, they've been the beat-all-end-all, particularly for everything "in-motion" (out & about), and are slowly displacing some stuff that has been with me for a very long time. The "displacing" part is somewhat sobering, and almost even depressing at times, but all for good end-results.

I should also say that I wasn't an immediate lover. Kat fell head over heels immediately, but it took me a few months to fully appreciate all they bring to the table (leak free, easy to re-wick, and a WIDE range of vape experience due to the extraordinary AFC). As has often been the case, her instincts proved to be superb.

Once again though, it's so important to try things and see if they work for YOU, because other people's experiences really don't impact our own. I always recommend starting small, playing around with something, then deciding if it works for you.

The one thing you can rely on, not just with them but with all things vape, people will always be here to help if you ever need it. And most of us will share our opinions, even when not asked.

:D

Or, "what he said".

As is also often the case, someone else will have a more concise (Kat would say, "Too verbose!") than me.

Would this use the clr heads? Evic VTC mini with a Ego one mega atomizer?

Trying to find something simple to give to a smoker to help them quit. Maybe with the 1 ohm coils?

Then what nic strength? 12 mg maybe on that coil? Or is that too much? She smokes at least a pad.

Here's the math on quitting smoking...

Each cigarette has 1 mg nicotine, BUT is absorbed more efficiently than via vaping (vaping comes in around 75%)... so in a 1:1 comparison to 1 ml of 24 nic vaped in a day will provide almost as much nic. That's likely suitable for for someone using a very tight low powered device... which the eVic VTC Mini with eGo ONE Mega (even with 2 ohm coils) is not. Figure, instead, that they'll go through a full tank (4 ml) per day. Since you're wanting that nicotine to assuage cravings, 6 nic (6 mg/ml x 4 ml = 24 mg) would be a good place to start, and would allow the device to be used like a pacifier without too much worry about becoming nic sick.

Did that make sense?

After thinking about it....seems like most people say the .5 are better. Will that work for smoker without too much vape? Is that the ti or regular coils everyone likes?
I'd start with the 1 Ohm for the tighter draw and reduced delivery. Adjustments can akways be made upwards. Starting with a looser, sometimes cough-inducing vape can sometimes end poorly.

Thanks and yes makes sense. The coughing would definitely put her off, as she tried my setup and that was first thing that happened.

Also for consideration, the 1.8 Nauti... Very nice device for PAD smoker and with a Nautilus 2 tank the air can be dialed down to uber tight or opened up as user desires.

A starter for MANY successful vapers, and currently 2 weeks in for one of my kids (success, so far - fingers crossed as he's the last of the smokers in the family).

Ok, I will take a look at that also. I have spare mods I could lend her. Just thinking would be good if I could find a rechargeable mod, rather than battery type.
Nautilus and an iStick 30... hard to beat as a beginner combo.

And good for us old pros also LOL.

My SXK Doggy Style should be here any day from FT. Can anyone link me to any good videos on how to build it? Thanks!
It is so simple @SKYYcamel

I do a 2mm Kanthal, 10-11 wraps coming out around 1.5. You can use whatever your standard/favorite MTL build is and almost guarantee will work.

Wick is simple also. Some cut off a bit before the deck, some go down to the deck and tuck it back a bit. I've done both and the atty simply works, with just about anything.
