I like DTL but it just doesn't cut it in keeping me off the smokies but yeah your right, the ne Kayfuns ain't actually MTL like the older models such as the lite...

Still vaping my kayfun Lite plus V2 and loving it. I've bought and tried way too many MTL wannabees, but I keep coming back to the KFLPV2.

I'm wanting a Taifun GT VIII after seeing Busardo demonstrate it. I'm still not sure which model Taifun I need for the best MTL. Suggestions for best MTL and flavor?

Ahhh, not a guess dear sir, FT actually lists the thread size in the description part, plus I do know from having worked with the kayfun's quite a bit in the past.

Gotcha, no guess on the measurements. But the actual chimney height may or may not be enough to go through the top o-ring on any given KF. I've seen at least 3 different lengths, for different configurations. And if it doesn't go through that top o-ring, it WILL leak. As soon as it's right side up! So best bet is to assemble it to a V2 base, put the full top on and look down through where the drip tip goes. If the stainless chimney is through the o-ring, golden.

This one should work. Just put an oring (same size as the fill plug oring) on the top piece of the chimney where it exits(or meets) the top of the tank.

We just got back from the beach at St. Simons Island and my Pico Dual was waiting in the mailbox. Kudos to our post office delivery lady who held our mail and delivered it on the right day!

I popped a pair of 30Q's in it and ran through the settings. It's working great and feels good in my hand. Wattage and TC modes work as designed, unlike my new Alien 220W that has a screwed up firmware issue with TC mode, even with the latest V1.2.1 version installed.

At 10W in power mode the Alien works fine, but in TC the power setting won't go below 15W, which is pretty hot on a Kayfun V2. The Pico Dual works just like the Pico 75W in all modes. You have to wonder why Smok couldn't just make the wattage range the same in all modes. Other brands can do it.

I ordered both of the above for longer battery life with dual 18650s. The Alien fits in a pocket much better than the Pico Dual because the batteries are in line instead of a triangle, but it's going to need some firmware fixes to be a daily vape tool.

I'm getting 24 hours vape time on the Alien 200W with a pair of 30Q's. We'll see if the Pico Dual can match that.
