For pork .... it's dry rub for me all the way, Memphis style (oh, hear we go, I can see it already).

That one is really good!
We smoke meats every weekend! ( hubby's hobby)

I heard about this on CBC (Canadian national news channel) last night.

Nice to see you here Atcha!
And it's nice to see you too! In fact it's great to see everybody! I went several months with my internet out more than it was in and just so busy.

I let it push through naturally unless I'm on a time crunch, then I'll increase temp from 225 to 250
I leave the temp where it is, around the 220-225 mark and use the Texas crutch! It is a bit of tinkering, but the results are stellar. Doing this way allows for faster cooking and keeps the juices in.

I've used the crutch for sure, but as u say a bit of faff.

I've never had a .... turn out dry... It's one reason I love pork ...... a very forgiving, moist meat.

If I have time I like to pull it off at 190 internal temp, wrap it in foil, put towels in bottom of ice chest, put the .... in, towels on top, close er up and let sit in there for couple of hours... It is the most moist and tender I've had... Great for traveling if u are taking the .... somewhere.

Save some for me! Pulled pork, mead, and a vape, sounds like a great way to spend the afternoon. You do have some mead around, right?
Only a couple of gallons from my last batch of orange mead. It will do until I get the time to start a new batch.

The bark is Mr. Brown and the innards are Mr. Pink.

A good pulled pork Sammy has a good bit of both :)
My wife likes the bark also. I had to explain to her that you need a mix of the meats and a bit of the juices to get a righteous sandwich.

The Home HP PC almost caught on fire here the other morning.
I awoke to my wife yelling FIRE,FIRE...I jumped out of bed and ran into the livingroom and I could see smoke waftingup from behind the couch, but I couldn't see any flame.I pulled the couch out and noticed the smoke coming out from the computer's exhaust fan beside the couch.

I grabbed the power cord and unplugged the darned thing.I took off the side and could smell burnt plastic, upon further inspection I found the problem. The sata to molex cable from the DVD burner to mother board was melted on the DVD end.

My DVD burner got fried but fortunately and suprisingly the computer still works.

The PC is a reconditioned HP that I bought for cheap just over a year ago.At the time I thought we didn't need a fancy dancy brand new one and it'd do just fine for a bit of downloading, surfing the web
and for posting/reading here plus it's one of the few computers that still came with Windows 7 on it.

Next computer bought for this house is gonna be brand new.
Phew.... this event could have been alot WORSE and thankfully it wasn't!

    STAY SAFE!

Ermmm.... No BBQ or smoked meat for the wife and I today. :)

More often than not, it is usually the power supply that smokes... Glad you found the problem.
