Well...it sounds like you've had some fun with it! Gotta watch that dripping at higher watts or you'll probably get that light-headed feeling I got trying DL hits for the first time in a long while. ;)

Oh yeah. I definitely played with it a little too much. I had to put the thing away.

I have a couple of questions for any of you who've been building a stash. I assume you've also tried different tanks and mods, probably bought multiples of ones you liked along the way, and have finally decided which ones are your definite, long-term, overall favorites that you want the most of.

So...if you have a bunch of the others that are still new:

Are you considering putting them on the Classies, for others who have maybe chosen them as their favorites?
or
Are you going to hang on to them to maybe PIF with some, and keep others as your "second choice" type of gear?

I only keep what I currently use. If a mod or a tank goes out of rotation I give it away.

I have nothing worthwhile to list in the classies. Everything I have I'm holding onto until either finding a use for it or PIF situations. I think I'm definitely done buying hardware for awhile. Picking up a lot of kfm v3 tanks and parts for the hubby and that's all I have planned. Saving my cash and maybe only splurging on my flavor collection. Daily drivers I'm using kompact kayfun's, doggys, KF v5 minis and kfm v3s and I have several of each + parts. Stuck away I have a couple rdas and subohm tanks that I'll save for a rainy day. I feel like I'm in a good position for what I like and being able to vape long term no matter what happens with the regulations.

So, does that mean you have no "stash" of new tanks and mods that are for future use? Many do, because of the FDA garbage and/or what the states may do as far as taxes and/or making it harder to get things online shipped to your state?

Yep. No stash. The only thing that the government can do to stop me from vaping is stop the flow of nic juice. If I see that coming then I'll stock up on it.

You must have nerves of steel then. lol j/k. However, I would like to point out that the new guy(FDA) did just throw a curve ball at the tobacco industry without any warning. We liked it cause it helps the vapers out by extending the status quo, but what if he had gone the other way or let it stand as is. I just don't trust em.

just my 2 pennies.

:2c:

no secret I love me some eGo ONE style tanks with all their CLR pleasure...

maybe a month ago I decided to take a last gasp big plunge and buy several of the v2,
due to the fact that inventories are diminishing of both v1 & v2 (v1 are about extinct)

then a couple nights ago I was pointed to HG where they had a CLEARANCE going on and Tron and v1 smaller (not mega)
were going for $2 and $1 ea   :w00t:

so I stocked WAY-UP on them and it kinda changed my stash battle plan - what I thought I was gonna have/use as back up, no longer matters

my story, and I'm sticking to it...

My stock up plan was finalized Dec 2015. I only have a few tanks that I tried originally so see what I liked the best. Settled on KFv4 and SVD2. The rest are in a box to give away someday or scavenge for spare parts. If I am using them then things have gone really bad.

I added Stm this and KFV2 this year for redundancy. I have nothing worth selling unless I drop dead then the may be a few things.

Hey JC did you have something in mind for what you are looking for? Old, new, or just curious?

Oh...no, not looking for anything at all. :) Just been taking an updated inventory of my stash, and wondered if others have, too. I've finally decided on my most favorite mods & tanks for the long haul. Also considered what several friends and relatives like the most. Even keeping plenty for myself and them (and kits and such for newbie vapers)...I've got a bunch of extras. I wasn't wondering about them because of financial reasons at all. But because of storage space and because I've gotten really good deals on things that may be other people's favorites they're stashing. Trying to decide what to do...keep it all...or put some on the Classies. Wondered if others may be thinking along the same lines.

And...the new FDA head may or may not even BE the head of it...for Trump's 4-year term! Even if he is, that doesn't guarantee he'll be the head after 3.5 more years. Anything/everything can change at any time! ;)

Everything other than nic for juice will be available. Batteries will still be made. Wire will still be available. Cotton (or Rayon) will still be sold. You can buy the stuff to make a mod from hardware and electronics stores. If it really comes down to it then there will be people making special 18650 (or other size battery) flashlights where the bulb/LED assembly is modular and it screws into the body via a 510 connection. And the body may have an electronics package that allows you to vary the Wattage that you send to the light module. You know, to make the flashlight brighter or dimmer. The tech is too simple. It can't be stopped.

Glad you are so skilled you can do that. Those of us who may be a little ummmm....older and have hands and eyes that aren't as young as they used to be, may not be able to follow your suggestion.

Underground network? Can't sell those things here on ecf or fb without someone noticing it. So it can get so problematic most would just return to smoke......

Nah, it doesn't have to be underground. It's a flashlight. It just has to work as a flashlight. What you would do with it after you purchase it is up to you. I'm saying that this is a product that can be manufactured and sold as is. And it's only dependent upon current technology. It's a hypothetical that I'm throwing out there to explain that mods really aren't all that complicated. The manufacturer could offer different lighting modules with various LED configurations. You pick the one you want, or order more than one. The light module screws on via 510 connection and has an o-ring on it to keep moisture out. Perfectly legal.

See...that's what I'm talking about exactly. You must be having the same type of thoughts then. It's not that there's anything wrong with the other stuff...it's just that my personal favorite choices of mods and tanks for my stash have changed.
