But as you said you were well versed in electric applications. That makes a huge difference.

You are talking about throat hit here…I assume. And if so TH is not only important to newbies. There are many of us who have been vaping for a while who still consider it important. Take me for example. Been vaping for almost 3 years and the TH is still essential for me. More important even than flavor.
Here i go buttin in..
I would say more than just TH, even though that's important. The amount of airflow resistance seems very important. How hard you have to draw on the atomizer to get the vape plays into the satisfaction you get. Even the size, and possibly texture, of the drip tip is a factor in replicating a cigarette.
A few people (my wife is one) I've had try vaping have failed and yet they can't pinpoint why. They just say "it's not the same"

When I bought the T18 the 2 most important things to me were "The Draw" and its size...ie 2.5ml...I also liked how easy it was to replace the coil and how inexpensive those are...

I was well aware that people had reported the vape could be a little on the warm side and I agree...But I find that's largely dependent on how hard I hit it...I'm using the T18 battery right now...I also have the extra T18 tank on a Spinner II...Both batteries work quite well but if I had my own way I'd have preferred the T18 battery to be a VV device...So I've got 2 more Spinners on the way...Over-All I'd give the T18 Endura 8/10...

The one other thing that's become plainly obvious is I got'a back down on the 18mg...The Nicotine delivery difference between the T18 and an i16 Clearomizer is very noticeable...Ka-Boing...Trig :D

Yeah, too warm for my taste and no AFC, I personally suggest the Nautilus 2 and iStick 30 over the Innokin as it allows for more adjustment to user taste with very little fuss.

Of coyrse it's not the same. We all realuzed that the first time we vaped. I think we tried to get as close to the real thing as we could.

As I said for me it was and still is the TH. I have a favorite mod (provari), a favorite tank (GS Air M), a favorite DT (multiples of it) and one juice. But even when I use one of my other mods (istick, vamo, pico or sbody) or my other tanks (ego or amor) the TH is the impirtant thing.

I know several vapers for whom flavor is more important. Or the shape of the mod or the weight. We are all different but we all vape to stay away from cigs. Isn't that wonderful :)

Yep...Considered both of them...And I'm quite sure I'll have a Nautilus or 2 along the way...The Innokin iStick batteries are pretty slick but I thought they were a little pricey for a battery...I'm guessing as with all thing Tech those will come down in the future...Now I'm not cheap skate...But that damned T18 Kit was $19.99 @ MFS...Trig :D

@Katdarling - You and I know that we're not the only ones who bought those same acrylic bell caps, and had trouble trying to find drip tips for them. I've posted several times about them (in different threads) and others have posted that they had trouble with no drip tips fitting them, too! The ONLY ones I've found that will even go in are the squishy silicone ones, and they pop out as soon as something even very lightly brushes against them.

After $16.62 wasted on (3) 5-packs of them, and a conversation with a FT rep...I learned that the sticking up part of that bell cap (and others exactly like it but in various colors)...IS the built-in drip tip for that cap. If you look down inside of it...it's tapered, so a drip tip isn't supposed to fit in it.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Very funny you should mention that, JC! We (Bestie and moi) were just discussing that last nite, and I came to the same conclusion you just posted! I'm not sure why I didn't realize it at first, but tiz what it tiz.

I don't care for the tank with that built in drip tip, so it remains in my giveaway box.

Klever that you were on to it! And thank you for sharing that tidbit of info for anyone else who bought that particular style. :toast:

I don't like it either, and never would've bought them in the first place had I known the above. I posted the info on them on another thread right after I found out about it last November, and on here just a month or so ago. Have also PM'd some people about them. Trying to keep others from the same frustration and wasting their money.
