Do you ever get down here for the races at Daytona? I remember going to my first race there at about age 9. I thought my eardrums were going to burst...the noise of all those cars going so fast was soooooo loud! :w00t:

Considering Ohms Law encompasses around 12 different formulas, I'm far more comfy using a calculator than making a potential mistake... I can't dismember as much things and stuff and I ewes two.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Well, the amount of formulas (simple proportions) that are tucked away in Ohms law is only three (not 12).... Formulas for deriving power dissipation are not a part of Ohms law as power formulas were derived at a later date... Ohms law only describes the interactivity between voltage, current, and resistance.... I will list them below in case anyone here wants to write them down or if they desire to remember them...

1.) VOLTAGE = Current (in amperes) multiplied by the resistance (in ohms)..... The current flowing through a circuit (or coil) multiplied by the resistance of the circuit (or coil) will give the voltage that is being applied to the coil..

2.) CURRENT = Voltage (in volts) divided by the resistance (in ohms).... The voltage that is applied across a circuit (or coil) divided by the resistance of the circuit (or coil) will give the amount of current currently flowing through the coil (in amperes)...

3.) RESISTANCE = Voltage (in volts) divided by the current (in amperes) ...... The voltage applied across a coil divided by the amount of current flowing through thhe coil will tell you the resistance of the coil...

Unfortunately no. That would be something to see in person. I used to get to Riverside, and Ontario, ca. in my younger days, and some of the local short tracks. Not it's sit in front of the tv.

Well, there are definitely advantages though, to seeing a race that way, too:

    1) No long lines at restrooms
    2) You can adjust the volume
    3) A/C in summer
    4) Drinks and food are much cheaper
    5) No traffic jams before or after the race

Just 5 that I thought of right away!

@Katdarling - You and I know that we're not the only ones who bought those same acrylic bell caps, and had trouble trying to find drip tips for them. I've posted several times about them (in different threads) and others have posted that they had trouble with no drip tips fitting them, too! The ONLY ones I've found that will even go in are the squishy silicone ones, and they pop out as soon as something even very lightly brushes against them.

After $16.62 wasted on (3) 5-packs of them, and a conversation with a FT rep...I learned that the sticking up part of that bell cap (and others exactly like it but in various colors)...IS the built-in drip tip for that cap. If you look down inside of it...it's tapered, so a drip tip isn't supposed to fit in it.

OMG, I didn't realize that was the problem everyone was having with drip tips on the bell caps or I would have posted sooner! I got some and was getting frustrated with no DTs fitting. I was fiddling with one and pop! Off pops the included drip tip! Tried another, juggled the protruding tip and out it popped. Any DT works without that piece. Who would have known...

T Puffs! If I may ask a recommendation, if I wanted to set someone up with a 22mm drop in coil tootle puffing tank what would you suggest? To go on top of a Pico that is already owned. She is also drop prone so durability is a plus. Opinions on the Nautilus 2? She has a fine motor tremor so I don't want to steer her towards building.
