How appropriate!

That's a little eerie, I'm reading The Stand for about the millionth time.
The first time I read The Stand, I got just past part 1 and caught some intestinal bug that took 3 weeks to recover from. Took a year before I was brave enough to finish it.

Oh, I have to ask a dumb question... Is HOH the main distributor for Zen, or are they separate companies? I bought my Kabuki directly from Zen, so I need to know who to direct my inquiries to. I did see they had the new Kabuki with blue O-rings but decided to go with Zen since I did want to buy my original directly from the masterful craftsman who created it... But it looks like HOH is a great place for accessories? Are they a better price as well? I mean, no point spending extra when it's not needed, but I do need to ask Zen directly I guess, about what the O-rings are made of and if the silicone is better.... I wouldn't mind a bit of color on my black and grey tank either, though Rainsong is kindly sending me some colorful vape bands in any case... TY @RainSong!

Anna

The link that I gave you is Zen's. Gumption Depot, or as @Katdarling likes to call it >

In all seriousness, that Kabuki left Stamford, CT, and Stacie & I had been tracking it for almost two weeks. We couldn't figure out WHY it was going where it was going, and when it landed in Chicago, I totally lost it.

I could have WALKED it to them faster than it was taking.

Sometimes "stuff" happens in my brain.

Hey I had a package that made it all the way to the main NY post office to disappear, then reappear 2 days later in Jacksonville FL.

Took another 3 days to meander back up north.

3 days at the beach, free "air fare"? Not bad.

I've read it a couple of times since with no ill effects. 2nd favorite SK book, behind The Talisman.

To stay on topic, my first build in my Erkl was a 26g 2.5mm 316L contact coil. Never have luck with contact coils but have to try them once in a while. Like the rest, it worked but lacked flavor. The airflow was raspy as well.
Changed it out for a 30g 2mm 316L spaced coil.
While I had it apart, I took it all apart. I like tight airflow and noticed I could rotate the 510 90 degrees when I assembled and that would block most of the airflow. It did, but I still need the afc ring to tighten it a bit more. Seems quieter now. Vapes better, more flavor, raspiness is gone.

Oh, there have been times that I have considered shipping myself someplace. I guess it would have to be "ground" though I don't think I'd use USPS. They might divert me unexpectedly to Florida and I would see alligators in the wild... It's usually during my more harried moments, when I can't afford airfare and don't want to drive, LOL, it's a passing fancy I enjoy though.... There were also times, when my kid was growing up, when I'd consider his weight carefully and who I might "ship" him to, for a bit. He wasn't aware that I was providing him giant boxes to play with but also had an alternate purpose in mind...:D I kid, I kid.

I remember being about 5 and "packing my stuff" to leave home as my mom did something to irritate me, LOL, I can't even remember what. She had surprising aplomb about it and even asked me if I wanted food to bring with me. I was wandering through our backyard clutching my suitcase, and turned to look back wistfully/angrily at the house, while still walking in a forward direction, and promptly walked straight into a *tree*, I'm not so sure my mom didn't wish that my "run away adventure" had lasted a little longer, LOL.

I also drank toilet bowl cleaner as a toddler, I don't remember doing it, but I guess I was looking for an exit from this problem called "life"' from an early age. I was "fine" I guess, but it did necessitate a rapid trip to the hospital to get checked... :)

I'm a fan (most, all...). For many years my ECF avi was this rendering of Roland.

Anna, :) if you ever decide to write a book on your life, let me know, I want a copy. I think it would be a very interesting read. :) So glad you have made it thru your (adventures?) in life. It certainly is interesting to read some of it here. Keep on lady. :)

After watching the video twice, I gave the Erl a try. Following the directions to a "T" - first time build, no leaks just as qorax said. This thing is very nice, I can see why all the praise when they came out.

I have never wrapped my wire counter clock wise before. And I have always had problems with "hot legs" (in oh so many ways). I now wonder if I have been putting a strain on the wire, as qorax mentioned, and thinned the wire some as I tightened so, causing the problem. I will soon find out.

That just made me notice that you had changed it!

Wonder how Matthew McConaughey is going to do portraying him.

Our favorite creepy Lincoln salesman is actually playing the man in black. Idris Elba has drawn the impossible straw of covering Roland Deschain.

Against the project from the beginning (it can't be done), I'd more likely opt for the bullet than to sit through such a travesty. :(

That's so funny, yesterday I started my last rewrite after letting editor's comments stew awhile. LOL. It's a complete teardown and rewrite, so it's going to be a bunch of months, probably. I'll be publishing under a pen name though, as my family would *kill* me, LOL. In fact, those were my mother's first words. "You're changing everyone's names and details, right, Anna?????" I reassured her that was the case, but even "anonymatized" when she read a draft, she did not appear to want to speak to me for a few weeks, I pointed out that it was "heavily fictionialized" but she's.... a troubled character.

Though, aren't we all? It's not really at all similar to my tales on here, though, it's some serious fiction, though I do have a mini-book from the honeymoon(s) written in third person that I emailed to all my friends and family, and that one is hilarious.... With a bit of background I could turn it into a book, but I'm kinda focused on the one I've wanted to finish for a long time now.... Getting closer, though to be honest, every rewrite I'm like, this is it. This one IS it, unless someone pays me to go back in and fix it more, and that means a contract, which is the hard part... :( Oh, I hate that I'm not at the hard part even, yet. :)

I also put it away as I smoked HEAVILY while writing and always have, like, chain-smoking, I was a bit afraid to pull it out what with the being a new vaper situation... But that part's working out okay, so far.... Sort of. I had some serious cravings yesterday, but was able to get a bunch done regardless.

(laughing at the reference! Nice.)

I'm glad you like it, CMD. My two have been running perfectly, and live full time on a couple of Provi Ti's. I grab one often, simply for the great vape & light weight. Toolman has served us WELL.
