Yes, I'm just looking in case we loose power for a few day I could use the truck or boat to change batteries
An inverter would work for that. It's more expensive but more useful as well.

Yep, a plethora of those are good to have around for several atties.
Yes. Just wanting people to know they can replace the Erl O ring can also be replaced with an O ring from a kayfun, Orchid or original Silverplay O ring.

Always save YOUR O rings.

The tiny erl O ring is also the size that goes over the screw in the fill port for the kayfun, orchid, Ohmega Nano, and Silverplay nano.

That was a beautiful time in Atty land when so many of the parts/pieces were compatible with each other!

Found it here at RTD Vapor and you can get it with 15% off Labor day sale . . .

While there might be other chargers to consider - There is also this one too:

Ya' might as well get some extra batteries in that order while "You" are there - Ya' know "You" are going to NEED them . . . ;)

Personally, during an emergency situations (Bad Weather/Power outages) for most of "My" rechargeable electronics, I use either a Car charger inverter or a Solar Panel (Poweradd High Efficency 20W Dual USB Port Solar Charger -has USB ports) . . . Just Sayn' . . .

I'm liking the car charger inverter!
Thank you for showing me this:)

Also a favorite of mine, so easy to clean, build and wick and I haven't had any leaking issues. I have another one coming, it hit the states yesterday. I think I'm going to stick with the tanks I know work for me. I'm on ordering restriction now anyway with moving and the new house.
I kinda like that Doggy also :)

OMG, y'all just about have me talked into it!

A couple of the things that are pushing it over the edge:
Oh, and clean out dates, too (noting the tanks that have been washed out and ready to be in service again).
I never really knew what was working or how get it working better. Simple is good.

I've put mine on probation. I've not had any leakage and I've managed to stop the dry hits with wicking revisions, but the flavor isn't as strong as the KFM3 or the doggystyle. For me. The Doggie is my favorite because of its size and weight.

I've had zero leakage as well, with the Erl. I've noticed that my wicking apparently isn't quite keeping up though. When I first put it on a mod, everything is just right. After a dozen or so hits, I notice the flavor dropping off, like it's starting to run lean, or getting a tad dry. Not enough to call it a dry hit, but getting there. If I put it back in the atty stand for a while, it seems to recover, and the cycle begins again.

I'm not stashing it yet. I think we're just going through the 'getting to know each other' stage. On the next wick, I think I'll go just a hint looser on the shoulders, and see if that gets the feeding & flow a little more balanced. I think it's going to be a really good one, once I get the wicking fine tuned.

Sheet 1 The tanks, the juice. date started the bottle. Last coil change, last bath.

Sheet 2 How much moneys I have spent and more importantly how much I have saved and cigarettes not smoked.

Sheet 4 & 5 Recipes that looked good.

Sheet 8 O ring, screw sizes and various info specific for my gear.

Flavor invt. That is going to double this weekend

Juice Invt. I update this one every 2 months to get a handle on juice consumption.

Recipes to make. Recipes I am going to make next. Notes of the ones I have made.

Everything I need to know is in there.
I have a spreadsheet with multiple sheets too. It started as a list of flavors I have. I added a page to list recipes and one to list flavors to try. And a page to keep track of which nicotine I have from which vendor and how old each is.

Then I decided: Why not put everything in it? I've kept lists here and there that I was always losing. Why not just put it all in one place so I can't lose it?

Of course, I haven't gotten very far on all the hardware sheets yet. But, they're started.

The sheet to keep track of money has fallen by the wayside long ago.

The o-ring and screw sizes are a good idea to add.

But, the SS for keeping track of what's in use is too much of a moving target to keep on the same spreadsheet. I'll need to start a new SS.

Gawd that sounds like 'HARDWORK'

Kind of like a full time job  I like spreadsheets but Not That much!

It's really NOT! It's simple, quick, easy, and FUN!

Soooo, I just got to see what the inside of a Jac Series B looks like...

Thanks to the erlk vomiting overnight.

I'm thankful I was able to reassemble Jac and it seems to be ok.

User error, of course, but I'm not sure I'm on board with an atty that has such finicky wicking. I don't find it to be superior to the kompact Kayfun so erlk is going to live in the "whelp that didn't work out" pile.

Oh yikes, Rain. :( I'm sorry to hear that, and it happened to ME, too!! I think my first Jackie was less than 24 hours old, and I woke to an enormous puddle everywhere. I just can't recall which tank it was (will ask DPL if he remembers), but I'm suspecting it was a Wine (great tank but true leakers).

I don't find the Earl superior to the KFs or the Doggy, but I do like them all, for different reasons. Like many here, the Doggy, for a rather inexpensive, non-glass (no breaking!) tank, has really surprised me. Love your collection, TTex!!!!!!!

..DRAT...It's gon'a be 107 today...I get cranky when its over 90...Oh Well :D

Wow! 107 in the Bay area? Not much cooler up there than it is down here.

It's not the 107 that bothers me (ha ha, it does, huge time) ............. It's the REAL FEEL!!!!!!

Fascinating info on the inverter for power! Just this last week, due to our "Flex Alerts" and possible rolling blackouts, I got concerned about charging (e cigs, phones, etc.) and was gifted a most amazing item! It's a power bank and has something like 22,000 mah of raw, perfect power! (Thank you, giftor!!)

Not at all. I figure that if Jerry Lee Lewis had ever written a song about my practices, it'd be titled something along the lines of, "Whole Lotta Snippin' Goin' On."

Jerry Lee Lewis was a Mohel? Who knew!

That is one down-side of the Earl. And the Digi Siren. I don't mind doin' a spreadsheet, but fine tuning and futzing with wicking makes me bonkers.

I love the doggy for rebuilding but i'm a flavor chaser snd neither the SJMY or SXK Doggy does it for me.
I think I've heard that LOL.

I can pull fantastic flavor off the Doggy but as we all know, these darn things are so subjective and so, so many variables.

The great thing about the Erlkonigin is that it is considered one of the best flavor and reliable atties of all time and has been around for several years now so there is a TON of information and vids about the atomizer and how to coil/wick it for best results.
